Owner description: Flying Hanuman is an adventure like no other on Phuket. It shows that the island’s beauty goes far beyond the sea, sun and sand that it is famous for. The hillsides of Phuket overflow with thick forest that is great for exploration and outdoor activities. What Flying Hanuman aimed to achieve was to provide travellers with exceptional service, enjoyment, excitement and memories without impacting the natural balance within the forest environment surrounding it. There is no better way to take in the other face of the Pearl of the Andaman.

“Back for a second time!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 24, 2013 via mobile

We were at Flying Hanuman more than a year ago, and new the kids would be thrilled to visit again. This time we brought all three kids (ages 6, 8, and 10). We all had a fantastic time. The guides are wonderful, safe and entertaining, and great with the kids. Definitely a highlight for us when visiting Phuket! We highly recommend the Flying Hanuman!!

Nature was so good and it was a big fun to fly between trees in rain forest! It is a must to do in phuket!

“Great for the entire family”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 20, 2013

This was our second time here in 2 years, and we would come again next time in Thailand. 2 years ago we where the first customers, basically doing it before it even opened, so we knew what to expect, and the second time didn't disappoint. Last time we had the entire course to ourselves and this time we shared it with a group of 10, and the atmosphere was still great. The guides are funny and they really looked after us and especially the kids. The safety briefing was short and sharp but isn't much more they can talk about. The course is a good length with plenty of thrills. Another family in our group had a 4.5 year old a she loved it and was quite capable at that age and size. A great place to spend a few hours.

“Quite fun but overrated!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 14, 2013

To put things in perspective, it could well be that we have enjoyed various zipline adventures in other countries and had certain expectations given the rave reviews on Trip Advisor. FH was quite fun but nothing very exciting and definitely no adrenaline rush. The scenery and height of the platforms were also nothing extraordinary. While some say that the guides are funny and added to the whole experience, it didn't quite work for me and as it feels that the slapstick humour were sometimes at the expense of the customers. Also I understand that there was supposed to be a preview of the safety video prior to the adventure but there was none on that morning.

PROS:
Nothing to worry about in regards to safety as the guides take care of hooking the safety carabineer, lanyard and pulley.

CONS:
1. Very costly for a two hour experience. The portion of fruit on Package B was pathetic, a very small plate to be shared between two persons.

2. No proper safety preview at the start; we were geared up and walked up to the first platform and only received a verbal briefing there. There was no safety video preview as what I understand will take place.

I guess FH will work better for us if we had little or no prior zipline adventure experiences but the price is a factor that I consider as a big negative when you compare it with similar adventures in other countries.

“Could not be better...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2013

For us, the Flying Hanuman turned to be one of the greatest (if not the best) attractions of Phuket.
It was a warm but rainy day (first week of December) and we decided that flying (course B takes two hours) can be a nice way to pass the day. The shuttle arrived right on time to our hotel and on arrival the team greated us with smiles. We had two guides that took care of us. A short hike in the cloud forest and we got to the first omega- Scary!. The boys were happy while my legs were shaking. We climbed and then took the flight -from tree to tree -two amazing hours above the treetops. In the professional hands of our good tempered guides, flying turned to be fun.
After we finished we were offered some refreshments and back to the hotel.
We highly recommend this attraction.
