Owner description: Flying Hanuman is an adventure like no other on Phuket. It shows that the island’s beauty goes far beyond the sea, sun and sand that it is famous for. The hillsides of Phuket overflow with thick forest that is great for exploration and outdoor activities. What Flying Hanuman aimed to achieve was to provide travellers with exceptional service, enjoyment, excitement and memories without impacting the natural balance within the forest environment surrounding it. There is no better way to take in the other face of the Pearl of the Andaman.

We tried to find this place ,got lost but a local showed us the way .
What a great day ,zipping from tree to tree . This was a real fun day and the young staff guys were happy and cheerful all day, laughing and joking. Nice lunch ,good Tshirt and plenty of water.

Thank Andrew M

A fun outing which we really enjoyed. We didn't get the 'free' hotel pickup as they refused to drop us in Kamala. That was ok but the website is a little misleading.
I would recommend this for active or at least relatively fit people
Worth doing even though it was very expensive compared to one we had done in Switzerland.

I just did the Journey A (includes free hotel pick-up and drop-off, bottled water mid-way through the course, and T-shirt and meal at the end of course) at 10am.

Rating: Awesome!!!

It drizzled initially, then poured heavily. Not ideal but all's good. Still had fun zipping through the forest.

Tips:
- wear closed shoes (not thongs or platform shoes)
- you will get dirty or muddy, so wear something you are happy to get dirty in (particularly if it rains)
- locker is provided free so ok to bring a bag
- bring your compact camera is ok if it can be secured in your pocket, to take photos (300 THB for the photo they take at the beginning of the course, not while you are zipping through or abseiling)
- bring clothes you can change into, at the end of the course (particularly if it rains)
- wear mosquito repellant
- purchase the activity through an agent (cheaper than listed price on flyinghanuman.com; I paid 2,500 THB for Journey A - the most expensive one)

What to expect:
- free hotel pick-up and drop-off
- About 3-4 hours from pick-up to drop-off
- zipping through forest many times (longest line about 400m)
- abseil x 2 (first about 7 metres and the second about 35 metres)
- zipping on skateboard
- walking on wooden planks
- walk on wooden bridge
- walking up hill to start the course
- see durian and jackfruit trees
- see patong beach from high vantage point

Flying Hanuman is very safe. You are hooked on a safety line at all times till almost the end of the course. There was a 5 year-old in our group. If he can do it, you probably can. ;-)
