I spent two weeks at the Kata View Guest House, located near Kata Beach. Nice place, clean, safe, etc. The wifi was hit & miss sometimes, but otherwise it was a nice place. I'd stay there again. Low Season ran me about 600 bhat a night, which is pretty good considering the quality of the place. Your mileage may vary. Manow.

Do not stay

HI, We stayed here in November on our trip through SEA, this was our 2nd stop on a 2 month journey. The cleaners and staff stole all of our credit cards and went through all of our belongings. We had over £4,000 pound stolen. They then had the cheek to charge us to use their phone ona collect call to our banks. Looks nice, seems friendly, but this is why. I have now read several other reviews of others getting money stolen here.
