Millennium Resort Patong Phuket
Ranked #34 of 329 Hotels in Patong

Great location on the main shopping centre, close to Bangla, and easy access to the beach. However, the hotel does command rates higher than the standard probably should - and this is simply down to location, but as its the only real option I guess they get it.

It is a nice hotel, with good pool, great gym, and friendly staff. I hear quite a few rooms are very noisy due to proximity of a night club but I always stay in their Cabana rooms so this doesn't affect me - but worth checking.

Food was fine too - although many other options in the shopping centre, and nearby

Again, good hotel but unless you specifically want/need to be on the shopping centre I'd probably suggest trying one of the other 5 stars in Patong/Phuket offering similar or better value

Room Tip: Some rooms are near a nightclub, so be careful!

We stayed in two cabana rooms for 1 week. I did request prior by email to be next to each other however they did not honour our request. The rooms were right on the pool area and very lovely. They were full of mossies so we had to spray them twice a day. The towels were quite small thin and worn. Most hotels supply 4 towels a room however there were only two per room. We did request 4 with a good tip but it was back to two the next day. The breakfast was great. Not much info given though. Found out half way through our stay that you could also have cappuccinos etc ordered free of charge. Also discovered on last day that we could have had fresh juices made at the juice bar, no one told us this. They need to inform new guests of this on their first day down for breakfast. We utilised the tour desk a lot and the hotel driver was lovely and a very safe driver. I became ill one night on our way home and he really looked after me. We had dinner at the main restaurant a couple of nights. It was a bit awkward though because we were usually the only ones in the restaurant. The food was exceptional. I would definitely stat here again. The staff were very friendly.

Hubby and i are frequent travellers to Phuket. This time we stayed at the prime location hotel The Millennium Resort right in the heart of Patong. Our experience was a sheer pleasure from the moment of check in. Everyone of the staff were so friendly and obliging especially in the dining room. Wow!! Right to the top staff in management positions. We loved the location, loved the staff, loved the room with plenty of space and comfortable beds, loved the pool area and gym. Truly cannot fault it. The chef, amazing! Best Tom Kha Gai and Thai dishes!!! Will definately recommend to all our family and friends. Thank you to all the STAFF for making our stay a memorable one. We will be back!! Susanne, Brisbane Australia.

Room Tip: Our choice is Lakeside building.

We stayed in a deluxe room in the Lakeside wing and were very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and excellent service provided. The restaurant staff made our 3 year old daughter feel like a princess and they went out of their way to make sure she was ok. The hotel is about 10-15 mins walk from the beach and has all the amenities including a mall nearby. This was our first visit to Thailand and we will certainly be back here.

Room Tip: Lakeside wing is quieter.

Reserved a table on Tuesday night as it was a seafood BBQ buffet dinner at THB950++ each. Totally disappointed. Just when we were greeted to our table, there's a live fly on my glass, it's of course changed to another glass right away. The seafood were not fresh at all. Most of the prawns were rotten. It's ridiculous that nobody told us to take the grilled seafood outside the door of the restaurant until we saw the food on other guests' tables, we asked how they came from and then we were told about it. There're indeed very little choices for buffet. The most delicious food I found was only the ice-cream (gelato). Even no drinking water was provided as all the beverages were to be charged. The coffee after the meal was even worse. I got badly bitten by mosquitoes throughout the dining. There're altogether 6-8 guests including us, a table of two, during our dining. You can imagine why there was such few guests. The qualify of food was the main problem. Strongly NOT recommended.

We found this hotel and its location to be perfect for site-seeing. The rooms were comfortable. The swimming pool was great. The breakfast was fantastic--lots of fresh exotic fruits, omelette on demand, and the standard fare. Lots of variety and good quality foods.
The hotel is attached to a shopping mall and walking distance to many places to eat and a not so wonderful beach.
Facials, fish spas, restaurants, shopping, air-conditioned bazaar-style markets are all available in the Jungceylon mall. And transportation is easy to obtain if you want to travel to a nicer beach, the night markets, or other site-seeing places. Almost all the attractions we were interested in seeing were willing to send a driver to this centrally located hotel free of charge or at reduced rates.
