Reviewed May 31, 2013

It was booked as part of a very cheap budget airline package so couldn't quibble at all over value for money. If you want to be in amongst the shopping and general hustle and bustle of Patong, in a fairly decent place then this is probably the place to be. For me, next time I would probably opt for something nearer the beach but still walking distance to Bangla Rd, etc. It adjoins a very large shopping centre, if that's your thing and the breakfast buffet was adequate. Upon check-in we and other guests, were fed what was obviously a standard line (with supporting sales aid) that our booked rooms weren't available for an early check in but lo and behold, they just happened to have more expensive rooms available for immediate check-in. Rather than wait for several hours, we coughed up the extra dosh. The rooms were pretty good and given the double balcony sliding doors, very quiet though the fact that the wash hand basin was in the room itself, not the bathroom, was a touch odd. Big swimming pool and sunbathing areas and staff were pleasant and helpful.

This is a good hotel, and good value for money, particularly as we booked it as part of a package deal with AirAsia in Bangkok. However, some of the photos are deceving. There is a lush tropical hill behind the hotel that gives a sense of wildereness and quietness in some of the photos, but that's a couple of blocks away. In reality, the hotel is next to a mall and there are many building sites around it. in other words, if you want a quiet time in the tropics, this isn't a hotel for you. It's in the middle of Patong and a couple of blocks from the local red light district. Lots of restaurants, clubs and "shows", but not the best spot for a family holiday.

our family stay was very dissapointing ,from the check in .we had booked and paid a month in advance and requested adjoining rooms as we were a family of 4.upon arrival they could not find our bookings ,after a long delay they offered us rooms ,on different floors as they were overbooked ,after much haggeling with management 2 hours later we had to settle for rooms a distance from each other.the rooms were rather outdated needs a upgrade.[dark and gloomy] bathroom ,quite unheigenic ,no vanity basin in bathroom ,but in bedroom ,next to tea /coffee.imagine brushing your teeth right next to your teacup[yuk]to top it up ,we had recyled bathslippers breakfast was nothing to rave about ,dining area overcrowed.[Do not cater for Muslim travellers]could not wait to get out.thank goodness it was a short stay.Only good thing was the location.{Very central}.

Room Tip: higher floors and ask to be away from noise.

Was there from 17-19 May with family. Accessible location to shopping paradise at Jungceylon and Bangla Street. For those who love the night life, this hotel couldn't be a better choice as Bangla Street has abundance of it. Friendly staff and breakfast spread was good. Swimming pool for kids was nice that my children couldn't get enough of it. Overall, a good experience, hence highly recommended...

Its a nice enough hotel...choose the lakeside portion where its quieterand away from tour groups.
Its linked to Jungceylon shopping mall.....Service is adequeate but not exceptional. I like the place and may consider going back. However be warned bathroom floods whenever yous hower because the sprays will spill out of tub onto the floor. we tried everything but it did not help.
Breakfast is good...like the room decor.

Room Tip: Choose lakeside portion of hotel

Stay at Millennium Resort from 18-20 May 2013. On the first day, went to the pool & bought beer for 1FOR1. However, when checking-out.. the hotel charge the whole amount without 1FOR1 offer.. So, please remember to check the bills before checking-out. Front office, Mr Josh, was exceptionally good! He is very helpful & he knows when to do service recovery at the right time.. Did a tattoo at Siam Tattoo at Bangla Street too.. by 'An'. His shop is located right below HOLLYWOOD (night club at Patong). He is so good! and his shop is clean too.. He is patient and very nice guy! Most importantly, his price is very reasonable!!!
