The first thing you meet when you come to the hotell is the kindness of the staff. The hotell has the best location in Patong it is in the middle of Everything. Clean rooms and a exelent breakfast are just some good things about this hotell. I would recomend this hotell to anyone. I will be staying there again for a month in january 2014.

Stayed here for 4 nights in April 2011 after spotting an amazing deal on agoda.

As soon as i arrived i was treated like royality, bags were taken and i was shown to my room which i fell in love with. Amazing comfy beds and lovely shower! The room was big and spacious also.

I unpacked my bags and found my way to the pool which was set up on the roof, i was amazed how quiet it was considering you were right in the middle of Phuket. The pool itself was lovely and very relaxing.

The buffet breakfast was amazing and the food was lovely.

Overall the hotel was perfect and it was situated very central and close to everything. I would love to stay here again!

This hotel is in the heart of Patong, and you can easily access the mall (which didn't entice us other than cold air conditioning), and all the hubbub of patong. The beach is a walk through the busiest street in town.

The staff were not welcoming or friendly - we felt like our check in was a great inconvenience to them.

The room was very, very average - I would have rated it at 3.5 stars, no where near 5.

The food was absolutely horrible, there were flies all over the food inside the dining room (with no windows or external access).

The pool - the water was lovely, the gym was ok for cardio. To get pool towels we had to swap a 'towel-card' for one towel, and swap it back or you get charged. Way too hard, particularly as they only hand out the towels from 8am to 7pm (even though it says 7am on the actual towel card, I was refused a towel at 7.15am).

All in all, I would certainly recommend not staying here.

We booked Millennium resort thinking it is a five star hotel or close. It is rated as 5* in many sites. No way - it is a very good four star hotel, at an excellent location. The beach side and lake side are two separate buildings (fair distance apart), with parts of Jungceylon mall between them. The main reception is at the beach side, which is a lot more classier than the one at lakeside. Breakfast is served at separate restaurants for beach and lake sides, considering the distance between them. We stayed at lakeside, where the breakfast is at Bistro, which was good with egg station, soup station, fresh fruit juice station, pancake/waffle station, pork selection, Indian food (limited), pastries, fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurt, baked beans, and others. We stayed here for six days and could see some variation in the selection, especially among the hot dishes like noodles, mushroom, French toast, etc.

The rooms were spacious, bathroom was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The LCD tv with some English channels (BBC, CNBC, ABC Australia, Fox sports) was good. During the month of April, the hotel guests get 50% discount on the a-la-carte menu (including drinks, soups, entrees) at Bistro which was excellent value, considering their reasonable prices even otherwise. For example, most mains are Thb 250-300 generally, which is comparable to most restaurants in Jungcelylon mall. We had several meals (in addition to the breakfast) at Bistro. In May-August, the discount is only 30%. Similar deal is there at Bar8 and Lounge98 in the hotel, where they serve alcoholic drinks and snacks.

Jungceylon mall has a nice fountain-light show at 7 and 9 pm, which is free and is worth seeing. There are more than 10 good restaurants within the mall, where the prices are similar to Bistro. With the guest discount, Bistro beats them all hands down. Robinson is a large departmental store in the mall, and Big C is a large supermarket. We liked Central Festival, similar to Jungcelon. The factory outlet is not worth visiting. It was literally deserted, and is dearer than Australian DFOs. There are two Starbucks in the complex, and three more nearby in Bangla lane and beach road. No free wi-fi at Starbucks, which is unusual. We used the free hotel wi-fi during the breakfast and other times from the ground floor, and that was more than adequate. The day starts late at 11.00 am and ends late at 10.100 am for most shops and businesses. You are better off having the breakfast early to avoid the crowd.

There are money changers (also tour booking agents, massage parlours, restaurants) every 100 m, on the beach road, Bangladesh lane, and Rat-U-Thit road. We got Thb 29.40-30.06, for AUD, while it was US$1.03-1.05.

Room Tip: At lake side, pool is on the fourth floor. Cabana rooms have their own jacuzzi, which is connected t...

We stayed in this centrally located hotel for a few nights. It is located close to a shopping mall and a supermarket. Our room and bathroom was modernly designed and clean. Buffet breakfast was good with a large variety of Western and local cuisine. There's also a fresh juicing fruit station with many diferent fruits to choose from. Overall we had a satisfactory stay in this hotel.

Chose this hotel because been told it is close to Jungceylon Mall...in fact, it is interconnected to the Mall! Great. Stayed at Beach Side and need to take 2 elevators to reach my room at 6F...in between have to walk on top of Jungceylon Rooftop...no complain. The deluxe room is bigger and cleaner than the deluxe I stayed at Moevenpick Karon Beach last year. Wifi connectivity was also superb with all the time full bar in my room. However, the breakfast is limited of choice with no striking taste.

Less than 10 minutes walking to the Patong Beach and less than 5 minutes to the happening Bangla Road. I was caught in the middle of Songkran battle during the final night at Bangla Road. Such an experience.... To get HALAL food nearby the hotel, you can find 2 in the foodcourt located at lowerground of Jungceylon (Silang Blvd), Kebab at the junction to Bangla road and tomyam plus local dishes on the way to Patong mosque.
