The hotel's location is awesome as it was directly linked to the mall, close to bangla street, and a few minutes away from the beach.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke english. The rooms were spacious and clean and the breakfast was pretty yummy as well.
Eventhough our room was facing "Famous" the open air nightclub, the double glassed windows kept all the noise from entering the room.

Room Tip: The lakeside is more fancy, while the beachside is cheaper and as good

We stayed here mid september. We were on the beachside of the hotel and the location was excellent.Welcome drinks were appreciated. We had some rainy days and it was handy to be able to pop into the Junceylon shopping centre from the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for all cultures. We had complimentary water everyday in our room as well as the usual tea and coffee facilities. Hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shops. Two minutes to the nightlife in Bangla Road, great for happy hour. Had issues with internet. We booked the hotel with free internet but during the check out process we were given a bill for using wifi in our room. We had paper work to prove that this was included with our stay. The manager eventually waived the amount. Please check where free wifi can be used in the hotel because this can be conflicting.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms that need only one lift instead of two to get to rooms.

I have stayed at this hotel many times when I stay in Phuket. Though Patong is very busy and commercialized, it is a nice place to stay. I always stay in a Deluxe or Grand Deluxe room in the Lakeside Wing. I much prefer this side as it's away from the noise of Bangla Road. I always request a room with a view over Junceylon and you can see the fountain show from the balcony. You can walk straight into Jungceylon shopping center (the best thing that has happened to Patong) and has many shops, restaurants and nice places to have a drink. Also it's only a few minutes walk to the crazy Bangla nightlife and the beach is 10 mins walk.
The rooms are nice and quiet. The decor is nice and the staff are polite and helpful. The pool is nice and the breakfast is very good and many varieties. The lobby is very nice and has a nice feeling and very clean. It is open air style and a large pond in the center that gives a unique style.
One of my only complaints is the charge of wifi. All other hotels I stay offer free wifi now. However you can get wifi free in many of the restaurants and coffee shops in Junceylon, so it's not the be all and end all.
I will return here again in my visit to Thailand later this year.

I recently stayed at Millennium Resort (Lakeside Wing) with a girlfriend from 2-9 September this year. What I loved:
- The buffet breakfast - amazing. So much selection and not just your standard toast and cereal breakfast.
- The location: I loved how you can walk straight through to Jungceylon Mall, which made it super convenient when we needed things from the supermarket and also when we went out for dinner, all the amazing restaurants were just right there! Also it was a short walk to Bangla Road and the beach which was great.
- The pool: AMAZING! What a gorgeous pool. Was never crowded and the staff at the bar were always very friendly.

The only issues we had were that our toilet kept blocking so we requested to be moved to another room. The room we got moved to was on level 1, facing the direction of the shopping centre, and as a result we could hear the music from the "Famous" Nightclub pumping loud and clear til 2am. I had earplugs to block out the sound but I can imagine this would be a problem for light sleepers.

Also, we had booked massages at the Escentika Spa located at the pool, and due to us being just 2 minutes late, they made us forfeit 30 minutes of our 1 hour massage and still pay the full price (not cheap, I might add!) I realise we were not early for the appointment but they just wouldnt budge, and it was not an enjoyable massage either.

The rooms in general were very clean and modern, there was nothing that faulted them at all.
Staff all spoke good english and never had a problem communicating with them. The hotel itself was beautiful with gorgeous decor and the open-air lobby with the lake in the middle.
I think next time if I were to stay at Millennium Resort, I would probably splurge a little bit and get one of the Cabana Rooms! Was so jealous of all those people with their own pool deck and jacuzzi!

At just $800 for the both of us ($400 each) it was really good value for an amazing resort. Best location in Patong beach in my opinion. 100% recommend! :)

Room Tip: Rooms in the lakeside wing facing the direction of the shopping mall tend to get all the noise from the nearby nightclub.

Dear Krissy,

Thank you so much for your kind review and comments on our breakfast, location and pool. We are glad you enjoyed yourself on your trip and have highly recommended us.

We have also taken note on your comments regarding the noise in the room. Due to our central location in the midst of Patong, we have double-glazed our windows & balcony doors to keep the noise out, but following your comments we will also take extra precautions to see how we can make it even more sound-proofed.

For the spa, we regret that it was not up to your expectations. As we are a full treatment spa, we do request for guests to arrive at least 10 minutes earlier than their appointed time as we take the time to do a full consultation so as to personalise your entire spa experience with us.We have to check if you have any particular areas we should be careful of or if it requires extra attention, how heavy pressure strokes do you like your massage, and any preferred scent of oil etc There is also a full welcome ritual with a welcome drink and towel, and foot scrub to start the treatment, all designed to get you into the right spa mood. There is also a short period for you to wind down after the massage and relax with a hot tea to complete the entire experience. Additionally if there is another guest booked right after, we cannot let one treatment be delayed lest it affects the next guest hence we have to keep the massage to the time limited.

Nevertheless, we are definitely glad you enjoyed your Millennium experience with us. We look forward to welcome you back and hope to see you soon in one of our Cabana rooms!

Yours sincerely,
The Management Team

My husband and I spent 10 days at Millenium Lakeside. We had a really good view of the car park across the road from our tiny balcony. The room was quite nice but had a very noisy air conditioner, the room was very clean and well kept although the mirror and glass doors needed cleaning. We were a bit disappointed with the buffet breakfast as most western people don't eat the Asian inspired dishes for breakfast, also the bacon was so over cooked it was almost inedible. However the location was excellent as were the staff we dealt with. The only thing with the location is its a long way to walk round if the shopping centre is closed. The pool closing at 8pm was a bit of a let down as that's when it's best to swim, out of the sun yet still really hot. We won't stay there again.
