We've just arrived back in Australia following 8 nights at Millenium Resort Patong. This resort was fantastic! Staff were so helpful and friendly... A big shout out to Man at the pool, great service. Staff in lounge bar really laid on service, room service was great food and price, and breakfast each day was wonderful. The exotic fruit was a real treat and my husband had a special 'man size' omelette made for him each day without asking. Rooms were clean and very comfortable and this as to be the best location in Patong! Right in the thick of everything. We strolled to Bangka rd and the beach and made good use of the shopping complex and it's great restaurants.
Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable, we were so sad to go hone. We'll be back at the Millenium next holiday and will definitely recommend you highly to family and friends!

Room Tip: We stayed in delux room overlooking pool in Lakeside wing. Next visit we I'll definitely stay in a cabana room!

I stayed at this hotel with my wife last year for 3 nights after a lot of search on the net .
This hotel is great from every aspect .
The Lobby is great !! The rooms were so big with a big Balcony facing the Pool , The Breakfast was good and the service was great .

There is one big shopping mall in phuket and another good point for this hotel is that you could go to that shopping mall from the Lobby !!! So You could easily brig whatever you buy to your rooms and again go back there .

the Hotel is at the center of the World of Phuket , 1 min Walking to the Famous Walking Street of Phuket , 5 Minutes to the beach

I really recommend this hotel to everyone and for every purpose

We found this hotel amongst the hustle & bustle of patong. Beware it's not 5* (as the claim, but no resort in Patong region is up to 5* standard)

Decently priced & the staff are very friendly and attentive. They also know how to talk you into upgrades! we upgraded to the plunge pool room (they call it cabana room) & it was well worth the extra cost.
The rooms however weren't as clean as they should be, dust in drawers, flies & carpet wasn't very clean. Another downside is that the sink is outside of the bathroom.

The buffet breakfast was a massive let down compared to Westin Siray Bay (it set a very high standard)

We did have a major problem with the tour desk, we booked a day trip to phi phi island & were very disappointed. The tour operators didn't let us snorkel in any of the areas everyone else was snorkeling & we ended up only snorkeling on a beach. can you believe it, $250 to snorkel on a beach? And to top it off husband got food poisoning from the buffet lunch, I avoided it since I only ate fruit.

So when we came back to the hotel to mention this to them, they first told us we didn't take the tour since they had no records, then they labelled us liars. that we got food poisoning elsewhere. I tried stressing to the lady that we only ate at the hotel breakfast buffet & then the tour but she didn't believe us and refused to call the tour. After some time we finally got to call the tour operator & the tour operator offered us a full refund. We were then told to go to reception to get refund where the reception manager on duty told us we couldn't get 100% back! they hotel had to take 15%. This really annoyed me. So I gave them a piece of my mind & told them they were ruining our holiday & finally they agreed to refund 100% I don't get why they wouldn't give us what the tour operator agreed to. weird.

anyway pretty okay hotel to stay at - i say hotel cause it's a hotel, not a resort. Probably the best we found in patong, we looked at 12 hotels that day and this was the best. Perfect location, inside a shopping centre & walking distance to the famous patong strip.

Room Tip: Get a room in the wing away from noisy Patong otherwise all night you'll be listening to the sound of drunks

Dear NuzSubs,

Thank you so much for your feedback and review. We are glad that you enjoyed our location in Patong and the Cabana room. Your comments have also been passed on to our Head of Departments to make sure improvements are made.

We regret to hear that your trip to the islands was not as memorable as you would have liked. The seas could be quite unpredictable with underlying currents during the time of the year and reliable tour companies would not even risk it if conditions are in any way unsuitable. It is always better to be safe than sorry as your well-being is of the utmost importance to us.

As for the refund, by policy cash refunds are not allowed when initial payment was made through credit card, the refund should be processed via credit card and the processing time is dependent on the bank. Additionally bearing in the mind the VAT, handling fee and exchange rate charges incurred, hence cash refunds are usually very complicated. In any case, we did process the refund but wish to explain the circumstances regarding the accounting process.

Nevertheless thank you for your invaluable feedback and comments. We hope you will consider us again for your next stay in Patong.

Yours sincerely,
Millennium Resort Patong Phuket

Perfect location for nightlife, restaurants and beach.
Cabana room was awsome This is a big hotel with 2 seperate wings, we stayed in a cabana room in the lakeside wing. I think this is generally a bit quiter than the beachside wing, however we still got quite a bit of noise from near by clubs.
We didnt get our room until 4 pm despite arriving at 1pm, they only have 16 cabana rooms which are very popular. Staff a bit confused and vague at checkin ,and one reception didnt seem to communicatre very well with the other, hence our delay in getting our room. Room was great, pool nice. the main sun lounging area looked directly ino our room which was a bit offputting at times. Breakfast good choice; very busy at peak times. Very handy to be connected to the junceylon shopping centre. Staff were nice but very limited english. loved the big bath in the cabana room and the private jacuzzi. A good choice for a patong hotel. Tons of hassle from predatory sex workers of both sexes whilst walking along the streets...but thats Patong...

Room Tip: Cabana rooms are fab

We stayed at this resort for 7 nights and found it very good in most aspects. We had a cabana room with direct pool access which are unique and well worth the extra cost. One negative with these rooms is when it is raining you cannot sit on your verandah as there is no protection, this might seem odd but when it rains for a few days you will see what I mean. The location is great, very close to everything with direct access to a massive shopping complex. Breakfast was only OK as this is a quality resort we expected better variety and service.

Room Tip: Cabana rooms are excellent
