There are located on beach road, we order for Phuket lobster with mushroom and cheese would give thumb up and also ordered Steam Fish was good. Good restaurant, very nice variety of food and quality is really nice. Have live music in the evening !!! 

Savoey restaurant is located just off Bangla road in Phuket. Just far enough so that not much Bangla noise is heard!

It caters to the fish enthusiasts and there's a large collection of fish dishes and there's also containers with live lobsters, crab and other fish to choose from which is charged by the weight.
A live lobster will set you back at least 2000baht but there's also options for fresh but not live lobsters and fish at more reasonable prices. This is probably one of the few places to eat lobster Thermidor served surrounded in a cheese sauce.

The setting is outdoors in a fairly large area and I didn't notice an indoor area. In the summer it's hot and humid here so the atmosphere was not that great. In the winter it could be very different.

Service was ok even though there were many waiters/waitresses. They just seemed to hang around together in small groups and no specific waiter served you.

There was a 2-person live band that played and sang beautiful oldies from the 60s and 70s. A consolation I guess for the not so cozy atmosphere.

A good but pricey fish restaurant.

This place was great. We chose from the seafood bar outside and had absolutely scrumptious prawns with garlic, butter and white wine sauce. It was delicious and reasonably priced. The location is great. Right in the heart of it all. The staff entertained the kids with the lobsters haha
The kids meals weren't overly exciting but they had fun. My first dining experience where you choose your food from the ice and it was a winner. Extensive cocktail list too.

For years this was our favorite spot but recently this place has really digressed. It's a shame. The food was subpar and the sad part is that the service has become terrible. Rude staff, long wait for food, some food never showed up, etc...

Don't waste your money or time here. You are better off taking a tuk tuk over to Chalong and eat at Kan Eang.
