I was short on time in finding a place in Phuket, so I stayed here two nights based on the reviews I read, location and price.

The check-in was quick.

The room while big was spartan and antiquated. The rooms require a key to get it and a sometimes awkward effort to fit the key sleeve just right to activate the electricity. The rooms are ancient and haven't seen a lick of paint or any updates ever!

I think this may be a problem in some hotels, but the drain in the shower nearly cost the life of my new mobile phone and a serious fall while exiting the bathroom following a shower. I had left my shorts near the bathroom door which contained my phone. While exiting the bathroom, not knowing there was water all over the floor, i very nearly slipped and once I recovered from that I realized that my phone maybe fried.

Luckily my phone was seated a few cm's above the water line! WTF!

It was raining a lot on arrival and there also some significant leakage coming from the window. Another safety issue!

This place certainly wasn't a welcoming place and I didn't spend much time in this room. It was dark and old. Did I say it was old already?! Never turned on the CRT TV and there isn't Internet in the room. Get 3G on arrival. Problem solved.

Check out was fine.

I forgot something at the hotel and when I returned the following day no one knew anything about it!

Won't be back.

If you like hearing noisy Thai prostitutes keeping you up all night at the alley bars downstairs while they solicit passersby and play loud music and set off fireworks at the bars until 4 in the morning this is the hotel for you. Otherwise stay away. If not for the super seedy location it might be a decent hotel as the staff were helpful and friendly.

Stayed with my family for 4days/4 nights. I will rate this hotel for its location as everything was very near. The service was ok and the staff was pretty much supportive. Yes there are bars infront of the hotel and are open till 2:30 am, but after 12:00 am the noise of the music slows down a bit, so not much of a trouble during my stay. The bar staff are freindly and polite, We enjoyed to have a drink there especially the honey bar and the elephant bar, it was much better than the bars in Soi Bangla road. All in all a good esperience, will come again to this hotel for future plans to Patong.

Good and helpful staff and this is why I have given rating of 1. Food in restaurant was average. Needed to ask staff for hot water each time we wanted tea as they would not provide us with a kettle. Noisy bars below - did not feel safe. The pictures on the website don't match the actual room. Someone has written that there is a shower above the toilet. Sadly, this is true. I wish the review was posted before I visited. Non-smoking rooms smell of cigarette smoke. Families beware. OK for singles.

Stayed for 4days/3nights.
Location - the hotel is conveniently located near the nightlife, shopping, great restaurants, few minutes walk to Soi Bangla. There are bars just infront of the hotel so expect loud music, noise until 2AM.
Rooms - they are clean, big and in good shape except for the bathroom which is so small (not proportioned to the size of the room), the shower not in good shape. Airconditioning unit can not be regulated, they were set on one temperature.
Staff/hotel personnel - courteous, very helpful, friendly, some are English-speaking
Breakfast - the food are good, however, food are the same everyday, no variations...
Swimming pool - the picture in there website is deceiving, its not a pool its just a jacuzzi.
If you are travelling with kids, this hotel is not good for them because of the location. If you are travelling on a tight budget, with adults, this hotel is for you.

Stayed there for 3 nights. 5 minutes away from the beach, shops are close by. Room was very good and clean, toilet and shower worked well. Air conditioner on the other hand had been set on one temperature, was fixed with nails and could not be regulated. Night life just outside the hotel was noisy until 2 o'clock AM, so it was quite hard to fall asleep before that time. When booking the hotel (not by hotel administrator) it was said to be quiet. How loud noise can be heard to the rooms is probably related also the floor hight. At the end of the third floor (in the main part of the house), there is a kitchen-rest room for stuff, who started to chat and laugh around 7-8 in the morning. We heard it very well to our room what was almost the next to it.

Probably wouldn't go back,

Room Tip: Higher floors have probably less night life noise. At the end of the third floor (in the main part o...
