Myself and 15 friends and family came to this hotel prior to getting married in Karon and we wanted a good central location in Patong for 4 nights. This hotel ticked all the boxes.

We arranged for them to Collect us from the airport and they were there waiting just as promised. Once at the hotel we were welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink. Not all rooms were ready but we did arrive very early and it wasn't long till we all had our rooms sorted.

The rooms were lovely and spacious we went for pavilion bungalow and it had a nice whirlpool bath. It was clean and comfortable.

All staff were very friendly especially the young girl sat at the tour desk. No pushiness to book anything.

Great location one road away from Bangla Rd but still a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle. We would definitely return.

Only negative is the amount of time for the bar staff to pour a drink if you have little patience then this may frustrate you.

Thanks again for a lovely stay!

Unfortunately this hotel was a real let down and massively overpriced for what it is and offers.

On arrival we were shown our room and we thought it to be of reasonable standard, although not like what we had experienced in previous hotels we had stayed in. When we explained we would take the room we were told that they were still cleaning it and therefore offered the room next door. Once settled we noticed a rather pungent smell, which on inspection turned out to be mould by the bed, and it was starting to impact on the actual headboard itself. At the time we decided to just put up with it, but on reflection we should have said something. Think our room was 702?

Wifi was a nightmare to get on and was unstable throughout the whole 2 days.

Mosquito's were a nightmare - probably not helped by the wide gap between the door and door frame.

Breakfast was an absolute joke in terms of quality and taste with minimal offering. For day 2 of our stay we declined breakfast and went elsewhere.

Location was ok as close to beach and there were a couple of members of staff who did stick out for good customer service. One in particular was the staff member, female, who mans the excursions desk. Very friendly and helpful.

Overall I would never return to this hotel and although the pictures of the complex make it look nice, I would suggest otherwise. For me the resort was overpriced and under delivered.

This was our second stay at the Royal Phawadee. I enjoyed it first time, and enjoyed it again. I would have to say that this time we decided to include breakfast and I wasn't that impressed. Not as much choice as other hotels we stayed at. Bread didn't taste that fresh, the eggs were nice. It was all edible, but a bit of a let down being that everything else about the hotel was great. If we go again, we'll not bother with the breakfast. Staff very friendly and efficient, the grounds are lovely, the location spot on. Aircon and shower worked perfectly. The hotel next door got a bit loud at times, but it never went on very late. There are quite a few stairs if accommodated in the main building and as far as I'm aware no lifts (and breakfast is up a set of stairs), so if you have mobility problems I'd be asking for something on the ground. A special thank you to the lady on the tour desk who was always so bright and friendly and never once tried to push trips on us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Phawadee to anyone looking for a quiet hotel in the cheap/mid price range.

perfect clean rooms, a wonderful pool, less than 200 meters to a clean beach, always polite and nice employees, a very good breakfast and a wonderful garden. "My" hotel in Phuket... I will check in again for sure!

Stuck in the middle of the busiest place in Patong lies this little gem!

Walking through the front foyer you are transported back in time, when Patong wasn't so touristy!

Surrounded by lush tropical gardens you will feel like you are on your own island!

Thoroughly recommend a stay here.
Close to the beach.
Walking distance to Bangla Rd.
Many restaurants surrounding, so very easy to pick & choose where you want to eat!
