We made our way to Patong to experience it firsthand as recommended by many travel blogs during dinner time. Upon arriving, it was clear to see that there were no shortages of restaurants vying for your business -- not to mention many other establishments quick to peddle their entertainment options... Having walked past countless restaurants, we stopped here as the simple name and wonderful smells coming from the kitchen convinced us we needed to eat now.
We started with chicken satay (5 pieces) for the appetizer. Good flavor, nice peanut sauce. For the entree, my wife and sons all ordered chicken pad Thai while I went with the stir fried pork with black pepper. Food was cooked and served in less than 5 minutes. All the entrees were seasoned perfectly as everyone cleaned their plate. The waitstaff did a great job keeping our glasses of water topped off and clearing plates subtly.
Our final bill for dinner was just under 1,000 bht. Please note that you can definitely get a nice meal from the numerous street vendors for far lesser monies, but Wok is a good spot to rest, relax, and recharge while you watch the throngs of people walk on by all while enjoying their delicious entrees.
