Nice hotel with decent facilities, nice buffet breakfast spread Close to the the nightlife at Bang-la road.
Within walking distance of patong beach, where you can rent beach chairs, jet skis and chill

Service is ok , a no frills kind of place.
Swimming poo is nice, each room comes with a private siting area. . Close to the main shopping mall as well and within easy reach of the famous thailand nightlife.

A nice place to got ot with family or friends..

Works well if u are on a budget..

The room was clean, air conditioning was useless, mosquitos invaded you room 24 hours a day, staff can not understand a word that you say, the kitchen & dining room was disgusting the breakfast was rubbish, the whole hotel including the dining room and kitchen had cats and dogs running around, next to the coffe and tea area it stank of cats urine, a complete health hazard.

This hotel is a horrible place to stay. We were here for one week, and thankgod that was it for this hotel! When we arrived we checked in and were escorted to our room. No Elevators meant carting our luggage up two flights of stairs to the room. Being four of us there were two rooms. The rooms were small, cramped and disgusting. The view was of sludge, and it smelt. We couldnt tolerate ten minutes in this room, so told the reception staff. We were then moved to two new rooms for the four of us, the superior rooms. These were a 100x better, but much more expensive! We were near the pool, so that was one bonus. The breakfeast was terrible. The egg lady was horrible and rude, and had something to say about all the tourists. She laughed and taunted every tourist. , willing to be there. There was no customer service. Some reception staff were friendly, but most unwilling to help you, or dont understand what you are saying! Stay away from this hotel! There are much nicer places to stay in Thailand!

We stayed here during Chinese New Year when it was really busy. It was a great little hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Food was great and a reasonable price. Service was excellent.
The best part was that it is not located in the center of all the action. It's not too far to walk to the beach or the "party" area and it's quiet!
There are restaurants across the street, a great massage place just beside the hotel.

I'd stay there again.

i stayed in this dump on nov 21 & 22. i am glad i was only there for 2 nights as i could not stay there any longer. the grounds of this hotel look very nice in their photos with a winding stream and lots a big beautiful plants growing just outsite of the rooms. these photos must have been taken 10 years as i got quite a surprise when i opened my patio door. the water feature was half filled with brown, mirky water that was full of floating trash and smelled like sewage. its always nice to have coffee on your patio overlooking a sewer!

from there it just got worse. i was woken up at a little before 8 am by hammering that sounded like it was inside my room. aparently some renovations were being done in a common area and i was lucky enough to have the room next to it. when i went out to see what was going on there was literally a whole in the wall directly opposide the headboard of my bed and about 5 workers were noisily working away. i can't believe they would put someone in a room knowing there was going to be renovations going on in the next room.

so at this point i decide to have a shower and go explore the town. there is no division between the shower and the rest of the bathroom so you can't help but get water everywhere. oh and i hope you like your showers cold! there is no hot water at this place at all. i let the hot water run for 10 minutes and it didn't even get warm.

after the shower i hear voices and laughing right ouside my patio door. so open up the curtains and 3 of the construction workers are standing on my room's patio having a conversation.

i tried talking to the desk staff but they are all useless. none of them seem to speak english when you have a problem. overall the staff was rude. you don't even get a smile or a hello out of the desk clerk when you return to the hotel at night. they just ignore you.

i stayed at a much nicer hotel down the street a few nights before this called the Daveen Patong. the rooms were much larger, cleaner and the staff was much nicer. and it was cheaper than this hell hole.

Stay away from this hotel. there are hotels that are a hell of a lot nicer just down the street for the same or even less money than the Bayshore charges.

i stayed at the hotel between 8-18 oct 2008. Previously 3 months earlier 2 of my friends stayed there and said it was above average hotel. The price we paid for the bayshore wing was 1400 baht a night and i can honestly say it was good value.
You have to accept 1 or 2 issues , but for the price it is good value.
1) even thou the pool itself is big and clean , the area around the pool does not get cleaned up regularly , so bottles and towels tend to build up.
2) the airconditioning units in the rooms tend to drip but can be fixed. We had 3 rooms and at some point during the stay the air cin units either leaked or made a rumbling noice. The maintainance guy fix when we spoke to reception.

To sum up , the hotel is in a good location , not too noisy , 10 mins walk to the beach. Staff friendly and helpful , pool spacious and clean , pool area could be tied up a little more.
Rooms in bayshore wing , clean , tidy , comfortable bed , shower a little tempermental as it took 5 mins for hot water to flow thru.

BUT REMEMBER FOR £22 POUNDS PER NIGHT IT IS GOOD VALUE AND I WOULD RETURN.

We stayed at the Hotel from 23 to 27 June 2008. Upon arrival, we were put into a room which was different from what we have booked. Upon checking up with the staff in the reception, they said they have made a mistake and we were put into the Bayshore Wing but the actual room is very different from the photos on Patong Bayshore website.

Our group stayed at room 21, 22 and 23. Upon entering room 21, a bad odour of cigarette welcomed us. The bad experience started from the non working hot shower to the leaking air-con. The room was dirty and the recycled room slippers were disguising. The extra bed was not in good condition and they put the bed on the floor outside the room before setting the bed up (it was raining that day).

The staff needs a lot of training (in language and in learning how to smile) and was not friendly at all. When you asked them for something or to do something, they will just do (without any expression on the face) and do not even bother to nod with their head. (I remember I saw the earlier review that someone wrote about the “egg lady” who is stationed at the egg counter during breakfast time and could not agree more on that). It is really different from what the website says “The hotel is private, safe and peaceful with all staff are friendly and well-trained to ensure your maximum satisfaction”.

An easy request like asking for a new hand towel was really troublesome. The most attitude staff (besides the “egg lady”), was the waitress at the pool side bar. We wonder if bad attitude is one of the criteria to work in the hotel. Not only does the hotel not have any feedback form for guests to give feedback, the suggestion box was covered by dirt.

The last straw was during checking out of our rooms, we were asked to pay for drinks that someone else’s ordered but billed to our room. The slip clearly stated the name of the person (which was not us) but they insisted that we pay up as the slip was dated 23 June 2008. We tried to explain that we only checked in the evening and they may check our signature on all the documents that we had signed previously (eg when we signed out the beach towels) but it was fruitless. We asked for the manager but she was not helpful at all. We stood at the counter for at least 20 minutes just to explain that it was not us and the whole bill amounted to only 150baht.

When we told them that we had a flight to catch, they told us “can, you can leave after you pay up”. We wonder what kind of hotel it is!

If you want to neutralize your good experience and happy memory in Phuket, here is the place. Also, remember not to lose the “do not disturb” sign on the door knob of your room or you will be charged 200 baht for that.
