We were 3 families and were looking forward to this resort based on feedback and reviews on trip advisor however was dissapointed. Rooms were old damp and in need of and upgrade. The breakfast buffett was large however everything was cold.

6 of our group got extremely ill over 5 days (think it was the buffett bug!!) and when we were out and about we got feedback from shop owners and taxi drivers that everyone gets sick at this resort.

Reception staff also spoke little to no english therefore making some arrangments proved a challenge. We had to chase the maid down each morning to get fresh towel and room made up.

The hotel has a good feel to it, the top pool is good with lots of sun exposure. The pool down stairs is awesome.. Swim up bar very handy but lots of flies and bugs hang around.. Which do sometimes end up in your drink.. The beach is literally 10metres from once you get out of pool.. Breakfast buffet is included is good but nothing to rave about some food was cold, I highly do not suggest to have buffet dinner it was terrible.. The rooms are cleaned very well and are fairly big. The bowling alley is very addictive and great price. The day spa is amazing but yes you will pay more being in a hotel.. Don't convert money at the hotel they take a BIG cut.. Do be prepared to walk a good 15mins to get to the heart of Phuket (Bangla) no free wifi Internet is pay as you go

Room Tip: Try and get a room near the pool, so you can walk out your balcony and be right there!

We returned from Graceland one week ago, this was our second stay at this resort and we were just as thrilled this time.We are a family of four,we shared a pool view room which was excellent,it had a great view of the beach. The maid service was fantastic, like all the resort staff she was friendly and couldnt do enough to help.We were always made to feel very welcome at breakfast, even when it was very busy, the staff were always helpful and very polite. There was a huge selection of delicious food, the children were always spoilt for choice.i can honestly say that i wouldnt change a thing except stay a little longer.if your looking for a great place for chilren, you won't be dissapointed.

We have just returned from Phuket where we stayed at Graceland the photos on the website are very true to life and the pools were amazing. The main pool was amazing lots of little private spaces to relax. Rooms were generous size but need alot of maintainance we had a leaky shower, taps and toilet also toilet didn't always flush. Cleaners were on the slack side our room got skipped totally on 2 days and glasses were not changed daily. Staff are very polite and courteous. Beds are rock hard so ask for a foam overlay to get a better nights sleep. Great location the beach across the road is beautiful.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the lifts. Air con works very well and gets cold at night. Be prepared for...

We Stayed at Gracelands from 24/9 to 5/10. We too came down with sickness. It first struck one and then the others, 5 in total, but only for 24 hours. I believe it was an airborne virus because other hotel patrons also had the same thing when we chatted on tours and day trips.
We enjoyed the pools and the fact that it was close to the beach and shopping. No more than 200 Baht for the tuk tuk to anywhere down town.
As always you meet the best people at the end of your stay. One such person was Mr Nick taxi service from the front of the hotel. Very honest and reliable, take you anywhere in air conditioned clean car. Ask for him!
The staff at the hotel were very happy to help but just hard to get your point across.
With internet buy the unlimited for the week it works out much cheaper.
The worst thing that happened to us and really left a sour taste in our mouth was when we went to Simon's Cabaret, the lady boys ripped 500 baht out of my daughters hand and then wanted me to pay more for photos with them, very unprofessional and disappointing. If I could say I would recommend to stay away completely because other people said that they had the same experience.

Room Tip: Our room had views from the balcony of the beach- Rooms 2546 family room with sauna that didn't...

The rooms were small but were perfect to get changed in and the second bed is good if your partner has a big night! Some damage from the Tsunami but i think it adds tot he charachter. Awesome staff, very helpfull and the restaurants on site were good but you get better food if you ventrue out. They were in the process of doing up the new pool and wing areas but the older rooms were still amazing! Central to Bangla Road, 200THB tuk-tuk ride, across the road to the beach! Want to stay here again!

The first 2 days were OK , but we noticed that the cleaners did not have new cups and glasses and were hand washing them in the room and placing them back , HENCE the domino affect down the lines of the wing , we were in 2532 pool view , we met with Edens mum as well they were on the other side of complex and stated the same with many familys with acute gastro bug . After the vomiting of blood it was the end for me 8700 baht later for the doctors call out fee , some of the lucky ones paid only 4000 baht. now day 6 i could manage to head to breakfast but only to find more families talking about the same subject , Please take your quilt cover of as well and check the sheets for stains and the bed . be advised NOT to go to Graceland Phuket .

Room Tip: Just check all your beding , and take alot of detol to clean everything before one uses them . Also...
