Locatiion, ok if you dont mind paying for taxis, two trips a day = 1200TB You access the apartment via two lifts going from one block to the next across a set of steel steps, bit of a pain in the rain. The apartment is pretty much how it is described, however "The stunning Sea-views" are now reduced by about a third as the "under Construction" tower block almost directly in front chops out the view of Patong and a fair piece of the bay?
The master bedroom has a huge roomy wardrobe and dressing area, however the second bedroom has no wardrobe at all, ok if you dont mind another guest wandering in to get something from your robe. The shower fitting and toilet seat were faulty in the en suite bathroom, as i was alone i used the second bathroom. The glass shower doors are too heavy for the hinges and scrape on the tiled floor.
What i did not like was the total lack of anything to welcome a guest, after being on the road for over 12 hours i wanted a nice cup of coffee and a hot shower.
The are NO coffee teabags sugar etc, nor is there even 1 paltry bar of soap in the bathrooms, in effect bring your own. The outside balcony looks great in the photos, however with no umbrella in the small table if the sun is out you get fried, if it rains you get wet, talking about wet, nowhere could i find an umbrella so had to get wet several times. While in the negative, make sure you personally take the meter reading, what they charged me for the power was three times what i use at home here in Perth?
There was no maid service so keep it clean.
Positives, not many except in itself it is a nice apartment, sort out the other few bits and pieces to make it welcoming. It is over priced for what you get.
