“Beautiful resort!”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

We loved this resort!! It's right across the road from the beach. We had a king room split into 2 singles, and another spare bed set up in the lounge area. We had a whole little kitchen and everything. Free drinking water was provided, 1 bottle per person per day. Wifi wasn't free, and even though we were only staying 3 days, it was cheaper for us to buy the 4 day pass for 450 baht and split it between the 3 of us. The pool was AMAZING!! A beautiful shape with a little bridge and a waterfall, and even a swim up bar where you can buy softdrinks or beer and put it on your room tab (nothing fancy like cocktails though, have to go to the other bar just beside the pool for that - but you can drink them in the pool). There's lots of facilities there, hairdresser, spa, massages (my friend had one and said it was amazing). There wasn't anywhere within walking distance to go and eat, so we ate at the resort diner every night and the food was very nice, and a reasonable price. We also indulged in few cocktails for only 200baht (about AU$7) - side note - the Monkey's Lunch sounds gross, but it was beautiful! The pina colada was also amazing and beautifully presented in a coconut with embellishments. The included breakfast was a terrific spread - even a little guy there who will make you an omelete with whatever ingredients you want! The staff there are all very friendly and helpful, particularly the bellboy who helped us carry our bags, and chatted to us everytime we were waiting in reception to be collected - he would ask us our plans and where we were off to for the day. There's a few stray cats around that wander into the reception and pool areas. One of them had her favourite couch in the reception lobby, but she was so tiny, a few times I just sat next to her and shared the couch and she never batted an eyelid! All in all a very enjoyable stay at a terrific price.

LIKES

Very nice clean, comfortable room on the 4th floor overlooking the pool. Wifi was available in the room but at a cost. 2 bottles of water provided each day. The room was well serviced. Breakfast was good and more than adequate. Weather permitting, we sat outside on the balcony to have breakfast, with a lovely sea view. Had a light meal at the pool bar a couple of times, which was very good. Loads of pool loungers and umbrellas provided, so you could always find a lovely spot to lie. Fabulous pool although a little deep (1.6m) in the main part. However the other section was only 1m which was great. There was a shuttle bus that ran to and from Patong centre every 30 mins and only took about 5 - 10 minutes to get there. However on a couple of occassions he did not appear in the evening, so we had to hire a tuk tuk.

DISLIKES

WiFi was available in our room but a a cost. You also had to go down to reception to buy it each time you ran out. We did not have to pay for WiFi at any of the 3 other hotels we stayed at in Thailand.

There was a busy road which ran between the hotel and the beach. Our stretch of beach was not easy to get to and not very big. If you wanted to spend the day on the beach, you were better off going to Patong beach but that was very busy. Great if you like to hire Jet Ski's etc but too busy for us.

Staff in the restaurant and housekeeping were great but in the Reception were at best only just courteous and on other days quite unhelpful and rude. We also tried to hire a scooter on the first day and were told there were no more and on the second day they did have one but wanted to hold one of our passports to hire it. We were already staying at the hotel and they had our credit card details and copies of passports. That was the reason we wanted to hire from them and not a street vendor. When we hired scooters from 2 other hotels on our trip, we did not have to give them our passports as we were staying there.

OVERALL

A pleasant hotel with quite affordable rates and a lovely pool area. Rooms are clean and of a good size. The location is really not good as you are out of Patong and have to catch a Tuk Tuk or shuttle. To get to the beach you need to cross the road and then it's not really a great beach. But definately looked like a great affordable holiday hotel for families!

Room Tip: The front rooms have a sea view but if you are a light sleeper, you may find the traffic noise a bit...

We stayed for 7 x nights part of our honeymoon. Very lovely hotel, staff is very friendly and helpfull. We had a room that was faced at the back. Requested a view room so staff upgrade into a delux room free of charge. Lovely view in the mornings or evenings to sit outside facing sea view.
There is a shuttle service free of charge every 30 mins which really works good.
Breakfast is really good and quite a variety. Will definatly return.

Room Tip: Ask for a room near the pool area. Really beautiful and good view.

We booked this hotel as part of a package, at a very good price and it was perfect! The pool is awesome! The breakfast buffet is delicious and has lots of variety. The staff are friendly and helpful. They will help you with anything you need... tours, taxis, scooters... and there's a free shuttle into town that leaves every half an hour. It's in Patong but a little ways away from the touristy streets, which I liked. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Good times!

We stayed in a family room with bath and shower and balcony, we really enjoyed the pool as well as the very good staff service. Quiet hotel with easy access to beach and touring. Meals are very good and staff as helpful, there is a tour desk in the reception as well as pool bar and spa

Room Tip: ask for a room near the pool as there are two blocks and the other block does not have a nice view

I Stayed here for 7 days and the Staff were all very helpful and Friendly, When I checked in my room was not ready so they gave me a Family Room for one night, The location is great as they have a bar at the front of the Hotel across from a lovely view of a Beach right across the road, When my room was ready it was clean and had a balcony with a good view also my room had everything that made my stay enjoyable, The pool area is very nice with a scenic touch to it.

I would gladly stay here again and I would recommend this Hotel to anyone !

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days in july. I just loved it. The hotel firstly is not at patong beach , its in kalim beach which is like a 20 mins walk to patong and walking street. Free tuk tuk is available in every 30 mins from hotel to walking street , but i just used it once as out timings never matched. We reached early and had no problem in check in , our rooms were ready. We had deluxe room sea facing. I read a few reviws that its very noisy and all. Trust me the view is awesome , except the wires infrint of the room , its a delight to wake up every mrng watching the sea. Reception staff was not so good , no sign of hospitality or warmth. Breakfast was very nice , rooms were good , pool area very nice. If u wish to book any tour walk in the back alley rather than booking it from hotel . If u want a good massage go to titiana massage , trust me she is just tooo good. Also u'll find good laundry service there. Overall i would definately recommend this hotel
