Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Staff are friendly and professional. Beautiful view. A walking distance from Bangla Road. For Muslims, there is a lot of halal restaurants nearby. Reasonable room rate. I enjoyed my 4 nights stay very much.

My Husband and I checked in last week for about 3 days. It was a late night check in but the process was seamless. We got a nice spacious room with a king bed in the newly renovated section of the hotel. The room was equipped enough but not to the levels of a 4 star hotel.
Breakfast options are limited and cryptic for vegetarians (non meat/seafood) as the tags are often missing or lacking information. One had to rely on Google a lot. If you are a late breakfast eater, consider eating before 10. The time suggests 10:30 but the start winding up much earlier.
The pool is big and shaded for a good part of the day with lounge chaises around.
The location is the best part of the hotel for it’s close to the beach, main market, Bangla road and other attractions in Patong.
Overall it was an average stay.

We had a lovely time staying at Bauman for 4D3N. We arrived early at the hotel at 10am. Receptionist (Payuda) was kind to let us check-in early at 11am. We took a walk around the hotel area while waiting.

Hotel was near to lots of thai restaurants, souvenir shops, atms, family marts and especially Bangla Street ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Bellman (AbdulRahman) was super friendly and he could speak Malay Kelantan!

Concierge/Driver (Nadet) was excellent in helping us to go to Old Town Phuket, Thalang Rd and weekend night market.
Breakfast buffet was good and value for money. Pool was nice and has jacuzzi spots. Free usage of internet and computer area was useful.

Down side was the airport transfer driver going back. He was driving recklessly and very irresponsible. 👎🏻👎🏻

All in all, it was a nice holiday for me and my friends. Thankyou bauman residence team. Khob-kun-ka. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I don't write a lot of reviews but was prompted to after seeing some negative ones about the Bauman. I just had a 12 night stay and recommend it to anyone looking for extremely well priced accommodation within striking distance of everything "Patong". The cost was approximately 1500thb per night.

The Bauman Residence is a better than budget hotel and once inside belies the facade (which admittedly is in need of a paint). The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive and hospitable, typically Thai in their service delivery. The room was clean, spacious with a very large bed, and serviced each day.

The swim up bar was a favourite, well priced, cheerful staff and light meals available there also. Any given area in the pool decking area gets about 3 hours of sunlight per day, which is plenty. The gym is serviceable, any real gym junkies would find an external gym but for a level of holiday fitness it sufficed.

The hotel is ideally positioned to be within a 10-15 minute walk of Bangla Rd, beaches, Jungceylon shopping centre and markets - but still far enough way to avoid the noise and craziness late at night.

All in all it was a very pleasant experience staying there and I would definitely return.
