At the first sight the hotel seems to be simple, however is just the lobby that is simple, the rooms are huge, as the bed, the bathroom is enough, the shower is really really great... I fit under it and the volume of water an temperature was very good. The rooftop swimingpool is the best part of this hotel, even if the hotel is not in front of the beach, is you go to the rooftop the swimingpool is woth it, you can go there everyday to enjoy the sunset while drinking a cold beer or any other drink you wish and listening to the songs played in Hard Rock Cafe, as they are neighbors. Anyway all the hotels in front of the beach are not exactly in fornt of the beach as there is the road between the beach and the hotel... the only point that is not so good about the hotel is that if you want to go to bangla road you gotta walk around 10 min. The breakfest is enough.

I just want to write a small review on the experience I had at the Meir Jarr...

What an amazing Hotel.

The staff are friendly, the buffet breakfast was good and the rooms, room service and facilities are modern and clean all the time.

The roof top pool is amazing, when there are a lot of people it can be a bit busy and noisy but it didn't keep me away at all...

The beach is literally 5 minutes away, Bangla road is down the road and there is a 24 seven right across the road which is awesome when you need to buy supplies or water or anything like that. We did all our supply shopping there and it is cheap and good quality.

I would without a doubt go back to this hotel and would not look anywhere else.

It is not big and corporate like the Merlin or the Mercure next door and across the road respectively. It is humble and you get treated like a person and not a number.

I had an awesome time as I knew I could come back to a relaxing hotel.

One issue I had was the pool closed a bit to early but that didn't even become an issue as by 10PM you out and about

Also value for money was top notch.

Nice hotel well located on the main street of patong. A walking distance to the beach but bit far from the shopping area and nightlife hub. You need to walk for like 10-15 minutes to reach.
Rooms are new and nice. bed is so comfortable.
Try to choose a room away form street side so you can sleep. Windows must be sounded proof.
One important note, is to check with the hotel about the construction that is taking place. They said they will start at 13 pm however every day they start at 8 am then when we shout they stop BUT it is late cause we're awake already. It is somehow exhausting.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the upper floor and not located on the street side.

This is a relatively new hotel which I chose for price, location and free parking.
Sure, the hotel is relatively new and squeezed into a block near the main thoroughfare surrounded by high class hotels which means it is surrounded by restaurants and not too far from the action of Bangla. The rooms are very small and it was agreed that this place was good for a one night stand while we found something better but certainly not good enough for a "beachside retreat" holiday.
A reviewer suggested facing the Hard Rock Café for better views which is correct but it also means you get the live music from the outside restaurant across the road and, worse still, the incessant sound checks all afternoon. If you are an Elvis fan, check in on Friday and get a better view (and probably sound) than the paying guests across the road - go up to the seventh floor bar for the ultimate view of the show. The bar on level seven is the redeeming factor of this hotel - great pool with a pleasant outlook and reasonable food and drink.
Service at reception was woeful - a lengthy check-in and when my SUV was too high for the 1.9m. car park it was suggested I street park - which is impossible in that part of town.. The poor check-in was nothing to the check out. After waiting 5 minutes while my room was checked I went back to the room to see what the problem was just to find no one there. After complaining I was forced to wait another 5 minutes before they released my 100 THB key deposit
Breakfast was not good with mainly Asian fare on offer and none of the burners under the serving dishes was turned on - so if you are a late riser your food will be cold.
Average to say the least

Room Tip: The better the view, the worse the noise so if you want views get a high floor overlooking Hard Rock...

We booked this hotel for the location and for that it's excellent, 10 minutes walk to Bangla Road, beach and shops however the construction site in the building was it's downfall.

The hotel itself has pros and cons

Pros:
location - if you request a room at the back you cannot hear road noise or the bars
New hotel - it's clean and fresh
Pool - the infinity pool on the 7th floor is lovely, with views of the beach and Patong
Service - rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and shampoo etc

Cons:

Noisy - at the time of us staying here there was construction going on inside the building which affected the entire hotel, drilling, hammering etc starting at 8:30am and sometimes finishing at 9pm. So noisy that it felt like they were drilling through our walls. Do please check when booking if this is still going on as there was no mention of this on the website. I believe this would be going on for months as they were ripping out rooms from top to bottom.

Pool - although very nice the pool bar ruined it by playing extremely loud crap music from 10am onwards, it ruined the only bit of relaxing atmosphere you could get from the hotel. The bar needs to turn there music down and stop playing YMCA and other tacky 80s tracks. Also there is. It enough sun loungers so get there early if you want a sun day by the pool.

Beds - very very uncomfortable, extremely hard like concrete and gave us bad backs

Breakfast - included in price but very very basic, fatty bacon, not a lot of selection

Restaurant - in the hotel is there restaurant, it's ok but not great. Food took ages to come out and once served it was cold.

Although the location is great and the hotel is cheaper than most I would advise spending a tad more and going elsewhere until the construction site is finished, we checked out early due to the noise and this ruined our stay. Hotel should make it clear if work is going on. Overall I'd rate location as excellent, hotel price excellent but noise very poor.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back away from the road, also check if construction has finished before booki

my room is beside the main road of the patong, it was really noisy on the saturday night until I can't sleep well. Soundproofing system REALLY BAD! However, the location is OK. near to the beach, shopping area, spa....
Do not have many choices about the breakfast.
Service... OK
Room facilities.... OK. but shampoo and bath should be requested from the lobby, inconvenient.

1st time guest. Travelled there on October 21 to October 23. Overall impression - Good. New boutique hotel property that opened its doors a couple of months. Stayed in a superior room with double bed. Clean room. All amenities work. There is an in-room safe. Nice hot shower (sometimes a little too hot so need to fiddle with the temperature a little but its not a problem). Staff were generally helpful and accommodating. The property is located about 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of Patong. As you exit the property, there are ATMs, convenience stores, and local food along the way to the centre of Patong. For those wanting to party and listen to a 'live music', Hard Rock Cafe/Hotel is just 5 minutes away as you exit left of the hotel. Things that need improvement - perhaps their daily breakfast selection (very minor issue) - almost the same items were served daily (gets a little boring but adequate enough to fill you for the day). Its roof top pool infinity is the best too! Happy hour cocktails can be had for 120 baht, while you dip and watch the sunset. Pretty nice set-up. Will return to the property if I have the chance again.

Room Tip: If one is a very light sleeper then one may wish to choose a higher floor room (5th or 6th floor) as...
