Absolute Sea Pearl Beach Resort & Spa

Our stay was just under four weeks in November 2010. About the only thing going for this hotel is its location, could not be better. The hotel staffs were preeminent. BUT, the noise factor at night runs about +8 out of 10 (bad). If you are lucky enough you can have a view of a brick wall. A very majestic hotel, that's where it stops, The pictures you see are very, very old ones as the hotels is not quite what is been advertise. The first and lower floor are all about real state (buyer be where comes in here). As for the rest of the hotel from my eyes it's been let to run down, i.e.: we were stuck in the lift, the emergency phone and alarm didn't work. Sold to the public as a 5 star hotel but in Australia would be as a 2 star.

Had been wanting to visit Phuket for some time and we eventually booked to stay at the Absolute Sea Pearl, although there seemed to be so many hotels and resorts to choose from. The location was great as we were right next to Patong Beach. The restaurant onsite was OK but there are many restaurants close by so would recommend for future guests to explore the surrounding area. Swimming pool area was compact but then as mentioned it is right next to the beach so it wasn't really an issue for us.
Looking forward to our next holiday to Thailand although not sure whether to opt for Phuket again or try another area.

this hotel is about selling timeshare and has no wish to treat guests well at all. customer relations staff could not solve a single issue we had (nor did they care) and consistently referred us to other staff who had little or no idea also. breakfast was terrible. food choice was ordinary. staff didnt want to do anything and cringed when you asked. stairs were slippery and dangerous (no lifts) and sales staff were constantly smoking all around the hotel so you could never eat without the smell of smoke. awful place full stop.

I had a wonderful experience! I was warned prior to leaving that timeshare employees would harrass you in order to make a deal. But I was not approached once. The hotel is perfectly situated for the beach, which is literally a hop, skip and a jump away from the front of the hotel, as well as great shopping, awesome night life and the popular Bangla Rd. The rooms were spacious with air con, bathrooms were clean and well kept and the breakfast was great with plenty of variety every day. The best way to see the island is to get in touch with Mr Pot, either he or his work partner, An, will show you around the island in an air conditioned car for as long as you like for an extremely reasonable price. Outdoor bar was usually manned by Krit, a great guy who always made sure there was a drink in my hand, The hotel's best staff member by far! Overall, Absolute Sea Pearl was a fantastic choice of hotel and was basically a steal in terms of price. Central to everything the average tourist will need on their trip with the exception of the airport, which is only about a 45 min drive by taxi. Stay at Absolute Sea Pearl, you will not be disappointed.

We were taken to Sea Pearl Hotel by a Absolute emploee, that give you a scratchy ticket out in the streets. I am telling you they rip you off with lies about their holiday timeshare properties. Sea pearl is the main office in Phuket that they take you to and keep you for approx.4 hrs or more with their so called presentation. Don,t stay at this hotel as you will definately be pressured into buying into properties that they don,t have or have available for holidays. You have been warned , don,t get involved say no to any presentation offered as you will loose your money!

This hotel is situated smack in the middle of Patong Beach so you are central to everything! The rooms are clean and well maitained, the staff leave you alone and don't bother you. Yes the pool is visible from the road, but it is clean and well maintained. We used the pool every day and honestly you just don't notice what is going on around you.If you are looking for luxury then don't come here, this is a middle of the road place with a great beach location. If you want a room with a view or balcony then expect to be kept awake at night by the traffic, people and fireworks! if you want a quiet room ask for a rear room with no view(which we had).Yes there a few areas that need improving like new towels, but these are changed daily both for the bathroom and pool and the water pressure could be improved, but if you want cheap centrally located clean well airconditioned rooms then this is the place to come. As for the "sell" you know about it when you go there so don't whinge just enjoy your time there.

I am well traveled throught the world but our experience with ABSLOUTE WAS NIGHTMARISH AS JUST NOT IT IS BAD HOTEL IN TERMS OF SERVICE BUT staff working there are CROOKS as staff was trying to charge 3750 bhat for actual bill of 1153 bhat for 3 pizzas we ordered through them and when we insisted for pizza company bill he started pushing us and threatened to call the security and police and after we approached the police he showed the bill of 1153 bhat but in the process whole night we had a nightmarish experience with hotel staff beside this we lost 1 room key and for that they charged us 1500 bhat for a local key and after such a big incident the hotel staff was not apologetic about the event and just informed that particular person was a regular offender thus you can imagine the kind of staff works in this pathetic hotel. .THUS THIS IS THE MOST TERRIBLE HOTEL IN THAILAND FOR SURE.
