“28 night stay”
Reviewed March 9, 2014

We are a couple in our early 60's from Canada and stayed at this hotel for four weeks from January 25th to February 22, 2014. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation recommending it to others. For anyone wanting a location near the beach and where all the night action is this is the perfect hotel. Although the surrounding area is very busy, this hotel is a lovely, quiet oasis. The town of Patong is fascinating to explore. Come with an open mind and soak up the fun. We found wonderful restaurants each night, never got sick, felt exceedingly safe walking the streets (apart from negotiating crossing the roads) and spent about $50 a day for food and drink. The $50 was for both of us. We got used to the fireworks set off on the beach every night!

The breakfasts at the hotel are amazing, catering to every taste. We ate at all the restaurants in the hotel and attended their specialty nights. The food was very good and excellent value for money. The Ladyboy Shows are a must see at their buffet nights!

We stayed in a room on the 8th floor of the Sunset Wing. We had a lovely view of the ocean.
The room's décor was funky and newly renovated. There is little clothes storage in the room with having no drawers. But you really don't need many clothes while you are there. We were in beach wear all day and very light clothing at night. Never needed a jacket or sweater.

There are two pools, one is in a small courtyard and very quiet, the other larger and livelier. We stayed around the larger pool and never had a problem getting a lounger in the shade. One area of this pool is always in the shade which we really appreciated. We met many tourists who had returned to this hotel every year for up to 20 years. We were the only North Americans!

This holiday was made even more wonderful because of the very friendly and helpful staff. We want to make special mention of the ones who added to the enjoyment of our stay: Kook Kai, Kae, Su, Young and Oranut. I taught Kook Kai to paint, so if you visit the hotel please take along some watercolour paper for her to continue her passion! Coming from North America we automatically tip just a little for service. I know this was greatly appreciated by the staff as they work so hard, 6 days a week.

We will return one day!

Room Tip: sunset wing above the 4th floor for an ocean view

We stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon in January. We had the spa room with the fake grass walls. We loved it here the staff were so friendly they welcomed you every morning, made an effort to go above and beyond. The rooms were very funky! We loved the casual feel and atmosphere of the hotel. Will definitely be back.

The staff were amazing, room was perfect and modern, the pool was awesome. The location couldn't be more perfect to the beach, restaurants, jungceylon shopping mall and Bangla Road. I am going back in November and will definitely be staying there again! Banana walk out the front was also very handy.

This was my fourth trip to Phuket. Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, situated across the road from the main Patong beach. Hotel is well located within walking distance to the beach and the shopping areas, as well as the chaotic Bangla Road. We stayed in a deluxe room and had a stunning ocean and pool view. Room also has a nice balcony that you can relax on overlooking the sea. The swimming pool is also nice and they offer a pool side service where you can order drinks and food. I thought the drinks were a bit expensive but then again you pay for the service. Hotel served a really good breakfast and staff overall were very friendly. Will definitely consider staying there again. Was a bit noisy at night due to fireworks on the beach, but this no fault of the hotel, just due to the location, but it does stop at about 11pm.

Stayed at PB Hotel in April 2012, was so close to Bangla Rd which helped on the drunken walks home every morning, but was tucked away from the main road so that you could escape the busy streets and relax if you wished. Had a great pool and bar service, while the room service was prompt and friendly (god help the people who had to clean our room). Breakfast every morning was tasty (I think we made it twice in 14 days) and the staff very helpful in finding activities for us (no shortage there)

Beds weren't the best but they weren't horrible.

The hotel is situated right on Patong beach. The only drawback is we had to cross the main road to go to beach. But this is a case with nearly all hotels in Patong region. The rooms are good but not something we had not seen before.
The hotel has a good swimming pool which is next to the bar & also a very helpful travel desk.

The hotel has a fantastic restaurant which is on the main road & the food is very good.

Room Tip: There is no spa in the hotel.

I had an excellent stay at the patong beach hotel. It's in the best location, close to the beach and bangla road. Nice clean rooms and a beautiful big pool, the staff are friendly and a great buffet breakfast!
