A fantastic beach front location with two swimming pools and great restaurants. Located within easy reach of all the facilities that Patong offers but far enough away to be secluded and quiet. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation but I understand that this is due for completion at the end of September.

Room Tip: Rooms in Block 7 are right on the beach front and near the swimming pool.

Stayed here for 4 nights and found the property to be okay. No beach in the resort but had a beautiful deck and did swim near some corals, which was fun. The room was not as well maintained as I had expected from this resort and had some leakages but nothing major. Even the AC was louder than most hotels. The breakfast buffet was extensive but a little monotonous. Staff was very sweet, attentive and helpful. Overall had a good time but did not feel pampered and spoilt like you usually do in most hotels of Amari’s caliber. I think they should refurbish their rooms.

we stayed here at the end of July 2013. we got a deal for one week through DAElive at a great price. The Hotel is under renovation but the 1/2 that is being renovated is away from the current accommodation. The new lobby is part of the renovation so a temporary lobby has been set up in front of the accommodation bit. We were told by staff it will be like this until approx October 2013. It posed no great hardship for us. The Hotel is away from the main tourist area which also suited us.The hotel provided a free shuttle bus service to the edge of the restaurants and market stalls. Get yourself back to the front gate of the hotel, and security will call the bus back to pick you up for the 5 minute ride back to your room. The driveway into the hotel is quite steep, long & hilly. The hotel accommodation that is open is 3 stories high & every room is absolute water front. The rooms are modern, clean and the balcony getting the sea breeze was great. We did not find the 3 flights of stairs a hardship. The walk to the hotel day spa had more steps. We weren't very impressed with the quality of the massage but it was in a beautiful location overlooking the ocean and city scape. The hotel provideds free wifi. They have beds along the beachfront and a pier nearby which also has beds to lie on. The beach in front of the hotel is ok to wade in but is a bit rocky. Local fisherman use this area to catch a feed too. The staff were great, very friendly & helpful. We had complimentary breakfast which was superb. Huge selection of hot & cold foods, pastries & fruits. We also had 1 complimentary Dinner voucher which we used on Thai cuisine night (surprise surprise). Wow, the beautiful food had us going back for more. There is a kidney shaped pool which is shallow at one end for kiddies but it was to busy for my liking. Overall, we were very happy with the location, service & food.

Room Tip: definitely ask for top floor (3rd floor). The bottom floor (1st floor) is at the same level as the b...

As I said the main highlight of the hotel is its location. Its just 2 mins walk to the city but still gives you all the feel of seclusion that you want. All the rooms are sea facing so no mater which one you get it will be amazing. The staff also is very well behaved and caring , I some how slipped and bruised myself and when i asked for first aid kit the attendent came and did the dressing herself. This was our second visit here and we were not disappointed by our choice, and we will be coming here in future also.
