Love the swimming pool with poolside bar
Love the landscaping
Breakfast spread was fantastic although the chef was stingy with the bacon
Rooms very well decorated
Location is 5mins stroll to beach, very convenient, although with the pool, one finds it hard to make the effort to the beach
Lobby is very impressively decorated & comfortable

I stayed in the Pool Access Room for 3 nights. It just costs HKD$1050 with all inclusive per night. With direct access to the swimming pool, we found it convenient for us to get wet when we returned to the room after the day activities such as shopping, eating around, diving, etc. Secondly, the resort is at Patong, the most famous tourist spot. The resort is very close to Patong Beach, big shopping mall and the night market. We can walk and reach almost all places. No need to call taxi and take tuk-tuk. In fact, the taxi fares is quite expensive in Phuket. The resort is in a silent place where the noise caused by tourist activities will not affect the silence atmosphere of the resort. As such, we have very good sleep during our stay. I did not use all its facilities, like fitness centre and spa centre. But, the resort is so new and clean, the room is spacious. I am so satisfied. By the way, there are currency exchange shops and Thai massage shops, which operate till midnight, right outside the resort. Just 200 Balt for one hour massage ! I tried everyday! Haha !

We stayed here in June 2012 for 4 nights and this review is long overdue but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with our kids.

The hotel is in a superb location - close enough to the shops and restaurants in Patong but not too close so it's actually quiet and not too touristy. Besides the daily morning breakfast, we also had dinner at The Square when it rained one night. The food quality here is excellent! Compliments to the chef, although the level of service can be grealy improved. There were only two tables occupied that night but we felt that the service staff was not attentive enough. Still, the great good made up for this lack of service.

Upon our return, we discovered that our son had left behind his stuffed toy crocodile. We wrote to the hotel and to our delight, they couriered it back to us without any charge. I worked in hotels before and we usually charge this type of courier back to the guest :)

Not all was smooth at the hotel - we found the service at the Front Desk lacking in communication. We had to wait a long time for our rooms, and the room type that was committed wasn't available (the renovation was still on-going). And there was more confusion on the room rates upon check-out and that took some time to resolve as well.

Overall, our stay was very nice and although we usually stay at the beach resorts, we will definitely return to this hotel the next time we plan our trip to Phuket.

We had a great time at the Novotel Phuket Vintage Park. Upon our arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and given a welcome drink and cold towel. We checked in, the reception/foyer area is stunning. Our bags were taken to our room (Room 1207, twin double) and the staff member gave us some information on the room before leaving us to unpack. The facilities were fantastic, amazing pool and the Velvet pool bar was cool, with happy hour from 4pm-6pm, they had 2 for 1 beer and cocktails during our stay. We ordered a pizza and some hot chips from the pool bar and the pizza was delicious! We didn't go in to the gym or the kids club, however from the outside they looked nice. The Square Restaurant was nice and spacious, enough space for people to move freely during peak times (mainly breakfast) The breakfast was nice. A great variety of dishes and we always left satisfied. We had dinner once at the restaurant, an all you can eat buffet with international cuisine for $850THB. The pasta was the best!!! The location of the hotel is fantastic. Only a 5 minute walk to Patong Beach and about 10 minutes to Bangla Road. We used the In Balance Spa once, we took advantage of the 15 minute free massage and also had a relaxing massage for 55 minutes, the price was fine for what you get. They also give you a survey to find your element, which in our case was Air. We booked a tour at the tour desk, there was plenty of options to choose from. We also took a car from the hotel to the local sights, big buddah, temple, lookout, gem stone jewellery factory and our driver stopped off so we could see the baby elephant "Brad Pitt" which we heard about. The driver was friendly and gave us plenty of time at each stop to take photos and he showed us around. It was nice to see him passionate about the sights. On our last day we checked out at 4:30am, we were given a breakfast box to take with us, which included a bottle of water, fruit juice, sandwich, fruit and croissants. The only feedback we would give the hotel, is that when we checked in, a $6000THB deposit was taken when we gave our credit card (for if you charged anything to your room) however, this was not explained to us, so we had to ask this to be cancelled so we could pay by cash instead. It would be best to advise customers of this or give them the option to pay cash. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to go to Phuket.

Room Tip: All rooms have a pool view, we stayed in building 'B' and could not hear much noise from the...

The level of service from the staff at reception and in the restaurant was of a high level. Arriving a day late and having two consecutive bookings caused some confusion at check in but it was quickly sorted out and we were in our room within 10 minutes.
The room was large with a comfortable king size bed. The bathroom was spacious and had everything we needed. The balcony was small and it only had one chair, not very useful for 2 people.
We experienced problems with the airconditioning in our room and were very pleased with the quick response of the maintenance engineer, the problem was rectified within 30 minutes of our call. Unfortunately the problem reappeared the next day and they could not find a permanent fix to the problem.
The hotel is located close to the beach, only 10 minutes walk. The beach was disappointing, it was not very clean, lots of rubbish (litter).
The hotel is close to all kinds of shopping and is only a 15 minute walk from the Jungceylong shopping centre. The food court downstairs in the centre has a variety of meals at very good prices.
The hotel is is geat for either a short stay or a long holiday.

The Novotel has a resort feeling with the touch of Thai culture on it. The lobby is great, very nice staff from we checked-in even until we checked-out, they still served us drinks while waiting our airport pick-up!

Huge room with huge bath tub, nice swimming pool, fast wifi connection in all hotel areas. Only the floor with the room numbering is quite confusing.

Lively nightlife with lots of street food stalls in the hotel neighborhood which is a must try to enjoy the tasty Thai cuisine.

Truly recommended!

I enjoyed staying in this new hotel but I never had a chance to enjoy the large swimming pool. I stayed there for 3 nights. It kept raining. That ruined my mood. I chosed this hotel because of the swimming pool. It's really big. The service was fine and the room was cleam. The view from the room was the pool. It's about ten mins walk to Jungcelon. On the way to there, you can try the best sticky rice in town. It's really yummy. You can also try the chicken rice at the opposite of the road. It's quite cheap and nice.
I recommmended you to buy the fruit in Big C. The durian was so good!!
For the buffet breakfast, it's just fine. I did like fresh bread. That's my favorite.
