beware indian stall sellers, can be rude and pushy, look for thai sellers preferably. and always look at item and ask yourself how much would you pay for it, then convert it to baht and negotiate.

Thailand has some of the best in the beaches in the world. This is not one of them. Go to Patong Beach for the food and bars and the many shops.

Best part of the Phuket experience was the sunset over Patong Beach - that beautiful sunset was well worth the trip.

Watch out as this beach is really filthy. There are dead cockroaches and dead fish everywhere. Trash of all kind.
When you imagine Thailand beaches - That is not the one.. There are plenty of better beaches around.

Relatively secluded beach this time of year. Water was warm but LOTS of people pester beach goers to buy stuff/jetski. Boats get within a meter or two of swimmers when parasailing, which made for risky swimming. Lots of beachgoers feed the pigeons and take pictures holding the pigeons (parents had pigeons land on their babies- cmon, they are the rats of the sky, don’t get your kids sick) so they have no fear coming right up to your stuff and trying to steal food. It was definitely an experience, but I wouldn’t return.
