“Perfect location, fantastic price”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

I stayed here with my partner for 4 nights when in Phuket. The staff working for the hotel were very helpful, there was a slight language issue but this is to be expected when in another country! We lost a bag on the flight and this was due to be delivered to the hotel by 6pm and did not arrive, the staff went out of their way to find out when it would arrive and it did! The room was big and very clean and had every thing we needed. The location was perfect, 2 minutes from Bangla road and about 5 minutes from the beach. We would 100% choose to stay here again!

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel or the side, as the front over looks a busy road.

Pretty decent hotel right smack where all the actions are (eg Jungceylon shopping, Patong beach, night market, Bangla soi). Relatively cheap and pretty clean in my opinion. Staffs are helpful and free parking of bikes in front and at the side of the hotel.

Just stayed here for one night at my arrival to Phuket. I arrived late and only needed a place to sleep before I found a new hotel.

The standard and the cleanness of the room was OK, but the hotel it´s located in a very crowded street where bars and restaurants play loud music to late at night. If ur a light sleeper, go somewhere else.
Otherwise, it´s a very small hotel. They have a pool area at the roof, but I didn´t check it out except having a small glance.

The receptionist on duty when I arrived was friendly enough, but the one who serviced me when I left could need a few lessons in service and accommodation.

Well, it is a 2 star local hotel, so you can't expect much from it. The service is ok, not good and not very professional. Staff was not so friendly which is unusual for Thai hotel staff, the reception should have been trained better. The room was fine, but the bed was hard - not comfortable. If you get the room facing the main street then it is quite noisy from the bars downstair. If you are a light sleeper, choose other hotel, otherwise it would be nightmare for you.

The hotel location is good as it is next street to Jungseelon Shopping mall and the Bangla street where all the night clubs and go go bars is just opposite ... so it is very convenient for the clubbing and go out at night . It is also walking distance to Patong beach during the day.

Well, the room rate from internet booking is quite cheap (less than 70 USD) so i think it a good deal for a budget traveller with this kind of location... but do not expect international service level ... after all it is a two star hotel ! What do you expect right ?

So - if you are on a budget and look for good location for the beach and night clubbing at night , this is the place for you as you don't expect to stay in the hotel all day !

Room Tip: choose room in the back so it is quieter for sleep at night.

Fabulous location, next to Jungceylon shopping mall and Patong beach, it's new, clean and friendly staff too. Highly recommended for convenience and safety. Great value although the breakfast was not something to shout about.

Room Tip: get a room on the higher floors due to noise from the street in front of hotel

I have just spent 7 nights here. I wanted to escape without the kids & hubby, wanting something central & found WE. The staff are wonderful - some prior reviews state that they are unfriendly - that is not the case - if you take the time to engage them & actually speak to them - they are great-nothing is too much trouble. Ruslan & Umarin on Reception were so helpful - I wanted to see if I could do a fruit carving course & they called the hotel for me to see if it was still on - but Hotel was under renovation & no classes - which saved me a lot of hassle; They also called my driver to re-book my trip back to the Airport; Charlie in the Restaurant was great also. I will return to WE & bring my family next time. Great value & staff & the 2 rooftop pools are lovely.

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room, ask for one at the back

Recently stayed in this hotel with wife and friends. If you want a fair-sized, clean place to stay in Patong and if you are not intending to lounge around in your room/hotel then this is the place for you. Very centrally located, with the Junceylon Shopping Mall and Bangla road just 5 minutes away and Patong Beach just 10 minutes away at the end of the Soi. Great if you like the beach and especially so if it is the nightlife. The rooms are just the right size for 2 persons. Standard amenities are there. Did not try the food at the restaurant so I cannot comment on that. The 2 swimming pools at the roof looks nice but had no chance to use it. Cheap cocktails sold at night, didn't try it but a friend did and said it was watered down though. The staff I met where friendly enough and I had no issues with them.

As for some of the complaints made by previous reviewers, most are unfounded for me or can be easily resolved. Yes, the place can be a noisy at night (try to get a room at a higher floor at the back if you are a light sleeper). Yes, you have to pay for the key-card but the deposit is returned to you at the end of your stay. Yes, The bathroom drain can become clogged with water but can be solved by lifting the drain cover up, which will allow the water to drain quickly. Yes, there is a slight smell in the room but its not really noticeable and probably comes from the drain. Yes, the mattress is a little hard but I like hard beds anyway. No, the wifi in the room is working fine. No, the air-con in the room is not warm and is working fine. If there is one thing I am concerned with is that with its proximity with Bangla road, this is not really a place for families with children and the surroundings can feel a little dodgy but this hotel is great for the young, independent traveler that wants to see everything famous about Patong Beach.

You just have to understand that for the price you are paying, this hotel is really value for money. If you want to be pampered then there are plenty of 5-star hotels around Kata and Karon that you can stay in by paying top dollar. If you want a room to sleep and will be spending most time away from the hotel, this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: Stay on a higher floor at the back portion of the hotels (room numbers starts with B).
