The taxi from the airport could not find the hotel. We had to stop a number of times to ask other taxi drivers where to go. Then when we finally got to the hotel which was situated outside of the major patong beach area the taxi driver would not give us our bags (that were in the trunk) unless we paid him more money than we agreed upon. The hotel staff just watched and let it happen. We asked them numerous times to call the police and to get some help but they just kept telling us to wait. We waited 30 minutes and in the end we had to pay the taxi driver what he was asking because he was going to drive off with our bags if we didn't. Basically the hotel allowed us to get extorted by out taxi driver. We would have left the hotel but we had already prebooked with agoda. We tried calling agoda booking line but nobody answered and their answering machine was full. We just stayed at the hotel since we were checking out the next day. At first look the room seemed decent. But after 2 cockroaches, a leaky sink and mould I couldn't wait to get to hell out of there. To top that off, our room was located above the pool and we could hear everything going on in the pool which was open 24 hours. People were in the pool at 4am. We were very happy to check out of this horrible nightmare the next day!

Room tip: Don't stay here. In fact, don't even bother going to Phuket. Save your money.

A small group of us stayed here during the peak season of December and we loved it! The rooms were exactly as in the photos: floor to ceiling wooden panels and spotless double beds with the kind of crisp linens you expect in a 4-5 star hotel. The bathroom was also beautiful and as pictured. We're extra happy because we got a half price rate when we booked this place last minute.

Perhaps it because we had a room on the third floor but, it was more or less sound-proof as far as I remember and we didn't have any issues with noise. The bathroom was working perfectly other than the fact that it takes a minute longer than normal for the water to get warm and the shower does drain a little slow so that you kind of shower in a puddle. Neither of these was a bother though.

The only drawbacks I can think of probably was the location and the pool. If you're looking for someplace beachfront where you can lounge all day by a big pool then this isnt the place for you. The location is about 15-20 mins walk away from Patong beach (which we didn't mind at all as there was a nice little breakfast cafe on the way). Its also in a little alley but many other mid-range hotels I observed were in similar alleys. The pool is tiny but clean. More of a wading or dipping pool than anything.

When we first arrived, there were some complications with the safe, but the staff was very helpful and we settled in after a bit. When we were there, the free shuttle service was unavailable due to issues with the tuktuk they owned but the lady at concierge offered to have someone drive us to the beach on their motorbike!! We kindly declined because the walk is really not bad at all. They even provide enormous beach towels to bring out with you. The staff was also very kind and let us use their pool and the bathrooms by the pool to freshen up even after we checked out.

I forgot to take photos of the inside of the room but really there was no point because it looks exactly as in the professional photos on the website, probably because its still so new.

Room tip: Request a room on a higher level for quiet unless you have issues walking up stairs. There are no elevators so a room on the second or first level is probably better if you do.

This hotel was just weird. The room was pretty clean, the bathroom was in need of some help, show didnt drain, sink didn't drain, and it was in need of a better cleaning. Our room was right next to reception which was also weird, the pool was located directly outside of the restaurant which would have made for an awkward swimming experience, and the actually location of the hotel seems to be in a random abandoned alley. The air conditioner barely worked and we have to hang a mosquito net because they were SO bad in the room. Late at night we got to the hear the drunk partiers come back down the alleys and chat throught their walks of shame. We booked it out of there first thing in the morning.

The map on the official website shows this hotel to be in the centre of Patong. The map on at least 2 popular booking sites show it to be next to the Honda garage at the south end of Patong. THESE ARE BOTH INCORRECT. The hotel is actually opposite "Triple Rund Place" hotel, near "SM Resort", on the very outskirts of Patong, along the road towards Karon.

This is a much less attractive location than shown on the maps since it is a much longer journey to the Patong shops and nightspots and beach. It also means the price is not as great value as it might appear, since there are numerous other budget hotels this far out of town.

It took me 3 hours to find the hotel because of the incorrect location on the maps, and because the contact number on the voucher was dead, and nobody answered the hotel's main phone number. Also nobody I asked had heard of the street or the hotel. I have no idea how most travellers or taxis even find this place.

Other than that, the room itself was quite nicely fitted, but both nights I stayed there was a noisy street party in the soi outside of the hotel which ran until 5am, so I could not sleep. So I wanted to watch TV on the huge, new TV in the room but there was no channel reception during the night, although it did work with lots of cable channels during office hours.

Other minor negatives... The shower has no thermostat and took ages to reach a stable temperature, the batteries in the safe were flat, the swimming pool is miniscule, and there is no elevator.

On the positive side the wooden fittings in the room were quite nice and the free wi-fi worked OK. I didn't try the food.

Room tip: The street is noisy, so maybe ask for a room on the back side of the hotel.
