With no prior knowlege other than seeing that it was crowded, i ventured in and sat next to a gentleman who looked like he might speak some English. As luck would have it, he was an Irish man who was a frequent visitor to Phuket. He recommended that I stay and that I would not be disappointed...I wasn't.
Apparently the word is out about this informal restaurant and its popularity...they come by the van load and the owners will even pick up the overflow crowd amd transport them to their other location.
There are often long lines, but if you spy an open seat, just jump in among strangers for before long, you'll be striking up a friendly conversation over delicious and fresh Thai food. A definite yes.
