“Good food with good value”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

Went on good TA reviews. Small cramp place but food was good with good price. Portioning & service were good too. Can't wait to visit the hill top branch. Must try the mango & pineapple shakes, deep fried whole fish top with garlic, yummy.

“Very popular but fail to see why. Above average restaurant but not great”
Reviewed October 5, 2013 via mobile

Delays in being served. Some dishes took too long. Pad Thai and tom yum were good. Be aware there are 3 no 6's that I am aware of.

“Great food, cheap”
Reviewed October 3, 2013

Try No.6 in the Hills, same food better view - they run a free shuttle between their 2 restaurants. We had 2 meals each plus drinks (less than 20$ AUS) great value

“Great food at a great price”

I loved this place. Great food and very cheap. Once we found this place ate here quite a bit. If you don't like Thai food then this isn't for you

“Tasty and cheap authentic Thai food!”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

No 6 restaurant on Bangla Rd was recommended by our taxi driver en route from Karon Beach to Patong and we were not disappointed. It was about 8pm when we arrived at the restaurant and there was a long line of people waiting for a table/seat. So we decided to go shopping and return later, hoping the queue had somewhat diminished.

On our return we had a short wait before being seated. There are long tables with bench seating so be prepared to sit with strangers, it's all part of the experience. There were 3 of us eating and we all ordered a different soup, each dish was delicious, and the size of the serving, even though a 'small' was enough for two. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and being able to watch the passing parade. In addition, it was extremely cheap, I think it cost each of us about A$4/5 with a drink included.

We recommended this restaurant to others and would definitely eat there again when visiting Patong in the future.
