Stayed here on March 13' for three nights. Amazed with the service that was given by the staffs. The breakfast choices were very good. The atmosphere here is perfect. This place is situated in a quieter area which was perfect for us. As you walk out of their driveway, there is a massage place on each side.. I will definitely stay there again.

Stayed at palmyra only one night but it was very nice, great room, friendly staff nothing was to much trouble, the breakfast choices were very good, the resort is set back from the main street about 100 meters so the noise level is low, close to Bangla road and junceylon centre and easy to get around, will stay there again.

Very nice room. Extra bed cost 700bath. We arrived at the hotel around 12.30pm. We had served with welcome drink. But we need to check-in at 2pm. The bed is really nice. The lift is modern but only accomodate 5 persons at one time. Our room view is really bad, construction site. But the breakfast, next to the swimming pool. Variety of food but we cant eat it as we only need Halal food. They served pork. You need to book early as the room always full. Nice hotel and we will be back.

Room Tip: Facing pool and new block

We stayed at this hotel during June 2012 for 2N/3D. This hotel is better than an average hotel. (the new wing - pool view looks cool & nice. We were given the old wing.)

Reached the hotel at around 11:30 AM (because of the flight timings). The receptionist was busy in a call... No welcome :( Waited for around 10 minutes in the sofas... Bellboy came and collected the booking details and our passports... We were then asked to fill a form. We were told that the room will be given only at 2 PM... But, finally they gave our room key at 12:45 PM... The room provided to us was on the old block 3rd floor... To our surprise, there was no elevator and only stairs... The room was pretty old... with old age air-condition machine (took a lot of time to get cold)...

The hotel is bit far from the beach and other attractions... But, you can take a taxi from outside the hotel road... The hotel tour desk (Ms.Jiab) was very helpful & responsive.. She gave us very good tour options to go around Phuket/Patong... We had booked our Phi Phi Island Tour through the hotel... You have to negotiate the cost...

Jungceylon shopping mall is close by... you can find some good food options here... Bangla Road is at a walkable distance, which is the center for entertainment & night life...

Dear Gopi,

Thanks for taking time out to share your feedback about your stay with us last year (June 2012) and we noted your recommendation that we should improve a bit more on our greetings services at our front desk. We have improved a lot since early this year and been receiving many good responses so far. We will continue to work hard to make sure our service level continues to improve or at least stay at status quo.

We are pleased to inform that all our Standard Rooms have been tastefully renovated since last year and we added a lift to our older building also. All our Standard Rooms (which you stayed) are now being upgraded to Superior Rooms and these are the newest rooms we have, and in fact they are very popular room type among our guests given the new rooms and best prices we are offering.

Our check-in time (like all resorts we know in Thailand) is 2:00 p.m. and check-out time is at 12:00 noon. When we have guests who arrive earlier than 2:00 p.m. we will always try our best to get the room done so they can check in early, and this is exactly what we were trying to help you with when you arrived early. If our rooms are not ready for early check in, our guests can always leave their luggage with our Front Reception for safe keeping so they can starting visiting places around Patong and come back later to check in.

Our resort is about 5 minutes casual walk to the beach and about 10-12 minutes to the Jungceylon and Bangla Road (popular night life venue). We don't really see the needs to get a taxi to the beach as it is just a short walk which is very convenient.

Thanks again for your stay with us and your feedback is most appreciated for us to continue to improve our services.

Thank you.

Very nice hotel, Staff very friendly, nothing too much trouble for them. Breakfast very substantial with lots of choice for all. Pool very inviting. The hotel is located in the quieter part with is very good as Patong gets quite noisy of a night.

Spent 7 nights at Palmyra Patong Resort, booking online, direct with the hotel. I had booked 2 x deluxe pool view rooms in March, for September stay and requested interconnecting rooms. I also emailed hotel to confirm my request of interconnecting rooms, and that one room would be a double, for hubby and I and other room twin, for my 19 and 15 year old. I received reply emailed promptly confirming my request. On arriving at the hotel we were greeted by friendly staff, and had smooth check in, however we were advised that they could not provide interconnecting rooms as someone else had booked the rooms to stay in for longer period of time. We were given rooms next to each other, which wasn't a problem due to my kids age, however I could see this would be if you had young children. The balcony of our rooms had a gate so we were able to access each others rooms via the balcony doors. As the rooms are right above the pool, and we were on the 6th floor we didn't really have pool view, unless you stood up and looked over the balcony.

Rooms were nice and spacious and thoroughly cleaned every day. There seems to be a design fault n some of the bathrooms and when using the shower over the bath, the water spills out onto bathroom floor. We had a problem in kids room with the air conditioner leaking water on the floor, however this was promptly fixed. Beds were very firm.

Buffet breakfast was more than adequate, different variety of rice, noodles and soup every day, as well as the usual chicken sausages back, eggs , cereals and fruits.

Pool is small compared to other resorts, but large enough for the amount of guests and rooms. Pool was very clean. We never had a problem getting a pool lounge, but on our day of leaving there were lots of Chinese or Japanese families and not enough lounges. Pool staff were friendly and provided good service.

If you are looking for a smaller resort, then I would recommend this hotel. It's within walking distance to Jungceylon and Bangla Road. We paid AUS $860 for the two deluxe rooms with free wi-fi and breakfast.
