“Nice enough”
Reviewed February 20, 2014

We enjoyed our stay and the owner was very nice. The staff was very accommodating and it was clean enough. The photos are from days of yore. Expected some aging. Was too busy in Patong Beach for our taste, but the hotel is nice enough.

My Gf and I came back from our day trip to phi phi island and realized we hadn't booked a hotel for that night. Every hotel we went to was booked solid and we must have checked at least 10. Finally we stumbled into Siam hotel and they had one room available. Two twin beds for 1500 a night. It was the 4th floor (5th floor as 2nd floor is actually labeled the first floor) and no elevator. The room was clean and in decent repair. There were a few small issues that the management team fixed without hesitation. The water pressure was INCREDIBLE. Overall a good stay!

Clean, quiet, very friendly staff. Location couldn't be better for first time visitors to Patong. You step out the door and everything is at your fingertips - night markets with delicious food, massages next door, bangla rd a few metres away. Tuy (owner/manager) is awesome with great recommendations.

Currently backpacking around Thailand with 3 friends. We were used to mediocre, substandard accommodation. When we were arrived we were pleasantly surprised as to the cleanliness and spacious rooms equipped with a basic TV, an air conditioner, balcony and large beds.. We found no problems with the air conditioner. For the price this was more than we were expecting... Great location too, and definitely rent the scooters, 200 baht a day, best way to travel to the beach. Markets and clubs in easy walking distance.
Cheers.
Thad out.

A very small hotel with only 16 rooms. We checked in Room 201. Furnitures in the room were old and outdated. Air conditioner was very noisy. There are many other budget hotels or hostels in the same street. Yet it is close to the fresh market where you can buy fruits and raw seafood which could be cooked by the stalls on the upper floor. Joycelon is just opposite to the fresh market.

Would definitely stay again!

The first night our aircon made funny noises it was 1am when we got home, but we knew we wouldn't be able to sleep.
The owner Tim and his staff were more them helpful, they let us keep our stuff in room and let us sleep next door. The aircon was fixed before mid day the next day.

The rooms are what you pay for but you can't complain everything you need is there if not down stairs near kitchen.

Tim let us know of some cheap and lovely food which we found at night markets and he let us bring it back and eat it in their dinning room.

We had a late flight and tim let us stay longer they even organised transport to the airport for us,

We hired bike from there as well.

They couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

Stayed here for two nights. Greeat locaton as its central to shops, Banglor road, beach. You can hire the scooters from reception for 200 Baht a day which was good and when we asked about one scooter the gentleman even told us he wouldnt give it to us until it had been serviced which I found very nice of him, its not often you find that anymore.
The rooms are what you pay for. They are clean, serviced daily, air con, good storage area and small balcony. I found the rooms quite noisy and we did encounter a problem with the bathroom. After we had both taken a shower one after the other the bathroom flooded into the entire room due to there only being one small drain. When menitioning this to the staff, they proceeded to clean it asap which was very nice and prompt.
