“Just okay.”

In the photos, this place looked reasonable and the price was cheap. Firstly, it is a conveniently located hotel (as others have said)- close to the ATM and currency exchange, Family Mart, quite a few shops and massage stalls. Only about a 2 minute walk straight up the road to the beach; about a 5 minute walk to Bangla Road.

We booked through an Australian travel agent. She said there was a pool. I checked the tripadvisor reviews...which said there was no pool....so we called the hotel to confirm, and they said there WAS a pool. Now, what they failed to mention was that the pool was in a separate building, around the corner. This was inconvenient for us but we thought we'd check it out anyway. It was not very nice. Lots of mildew everywhere because obviously nobody maintains it and the humidity allows the mouldy growth. No atmosphere up there- the bar is not manned or even stocked. In fact, the reception at the bottom of the pool's building wasn't even manned! The jacuzzi was not something I would even consider getting into. So that was disappointing.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, on the whole. The room was clean and neat. The rooms are actually relatively small. There is just enough room for the bed and bathroom, and space along the wall under the TV to put your suitcases. Room service was good each day- we never had a problem with that.

I think that there are places in Patong that are much nicer for the same money. But each to their own. I think it was generally okay, but having travelled to Patong on a number of occasions, we will be returning to our favourite Panoramic Swiss Villas next time we go, for the around the same money.

Room Tip: Note that the Loft Wing is in a separate building (so if you have friends who all want to be togethe...

Rayaburi was a convininent located hotel. 2 minutes walk from the beach and about a 5 minute walk to bangla rd. We booked through agoda and they failed to state that the room was one without a window. The hotel was kind enough to email me personally asking if I would like I room with a window for extra charge which was great as we ended up with not only a big window overlooking some of the street we also had the pleasure of having our own balcony which had views of the ocean. Upstairs was the jacuzzi which was great to cool off in and relax if you didn't feel like heading to the beach and wanted a break from getting hassled. The breakfast was good and the staff were awesome. One staff member inpartictular was kind enough to print off something for me and scan it back to where it needed to be that was such a great help!! Hotel on a budget but still nice and clean with a great location.

I stayed in the loft wing triple room. It's a different building from the main one. The outside atmosphere may not be very convincing however it's a very comfortable place to stay.

I payed 2000 baht per room per night for 3 people including breakfast. The room is very spacious. The bathroom is good and the people are very friendly.

Highly recommended for the price you pay in Patong.

Overall its a good hotel. But if you got more budget, i will suggest you to find another better hotel.
First its location is very good, just 3 minutes walk to famous patong beach. Bank, family mart, restaurant, and all kind of shirt selling is just nearby. 15 minutes walk to jungceylon mall and bangla road. Its a good place to stay based on its location.
second the service, i will say that they can improve in this aspect because they dont really smile and provide you enough information, i will really appreciate if they smile more. The appearance of the hotel is just average. But wifi working great there.
lastly is the swimming pool, it doesnt located at rayaburi in sawatdirak road, instead of other rayaburi, though they offer free transport but i aint got so many time so i didnt saw its swimming pool.

The hotel is located quite close to the beach, just about 3 minutes walk. The rooms are very nice and clean and the air conditions worked very well which was perfect as it was pretty hot. Our friends booked the loft rooms which turned to be a walk to the other side of the road, they are not part of the main hotel. The breakfast was ok as well. I was just disappointed that the website looks so much better than what the hotel actually looks like. Perhaps the hotel did look like that when it first opened.
Note to self: Never believe the pics I see on the website.

The staff is friendly, which makes up for everything else.

First of all: DON'T BELIVE ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS YOU READ.
I have spend the most beautiful 10 days of my holidays of my entire life, in Patong, Thailand's island of Phuket. The hotel was amazing, the staff very friendly and helpful. One thing to remeber, they speak SOME english, and don't understand all of it. If you want something done, or need something, use simple sentences with usual words. Don't get angry and DON'T SWEAR, they are budhists, and they consider it very disrespectful...
We, me and my partner, both around 30's, stayed in a level 4 room, with balcony facing the street. It was a little big noisy, but if you go to Patong beach to relax, you're in a wrong place my friend. Patong is the Ibiza of Thailand, so expect all night parties, and happy peaple on the streets all night long.
The food - breakfast, was great. all that an european or aussie can desire. If you expect caviar or some other fancy breakfast, you're in the wrong place - Patong Beach...
All over the island, where ever I had a cocktail or anything with ice, it was ok, no belly problems, or something...you can eat without worries from any street vendor, as long as you see thai people eating from there... the island is full of atm and banks, and the currency exchange rate is much better there, than back home, so don't exchange money from home. Don't expect to be able to pay with your card, most of the pubs/restaurants/shops don't have EFTPOS...
Overall it was just beautiful, absolutely not even one problem. I recommend it with confidence.

Room Tip: if you choose facing the street, with balcony, for smokers, ask for higher levels (3 or 4), the nois...

We stayed here for a couple of nights and found the staff to be very helpful and attentive. The bathrooms were beautiful with plenty hot water, lovely tiles, huge showerheads and complimentary toiletries. The beds were luxurious and the decor in the bedrooms were stylish and modern.Unfortunately the rooftop pool is in another building nearby which is quite offputting. The views from the pool are rather grim and the pool area is generally a bit unloved.Breakfast was buffet style with cooked-to-order foods available too.Overall a good hotel in a convenient location for the beach and town centre.
