We spotted the Temple on top of the mountain and thought "Wondered if we can gain access and get up there".

We were not disappointed, with a great road up the twisting hill side.

306 Views are Fantastic at the top.

The Maw Hong Son Airport is way down below you and you wonder how the planes come in to land on a northerly approach ( high mountains right at the end of the runway! )

Well worth an Hour to visit.

I highly recommend visiting this temple, it's at the top of the hill over looking the town so you get a great view of the town/surrounding countryside.
If you go at sunset the changing colours of the sky/hills a beautiful.

On top of the Doi Kong Mu mountain. Burmese style temple.
Consists of various buildings including two chedis.
Interesting temple but the highlights are the views you have of Mae Hong Son, the lake, the airport and the surrounding valleys and mountains.
Popular place to watch sunrise and sunset.

Fabulous views of Mae Hong Son and surrounding mountains. Tranquil setting although some festivities occasionally add a different dimension to this. Certainly worth visiting. Access is either by road (Tuk Tuk's can take you up) or walking up the very good foot path. A highlight of your MHS visit.
