Our experience with breadstuffs in Thailand has been mixed. This is not a wheat bread eating nation – rice is the basic starch. So when traveling, westerners often look for more wheat breads.
When Ao Nang, there is no need to search out a bakery, just hit the Go2BAKERY. Although it is not big in size, it is very big in taste. The products are good and made fresh daily.
We had the Grove Rolls - a multi grain bun that is great for eating with the chicken from street vendors. We also had a sesame bun for our breakfast today - a braided bread bun with sesame seeds and a light sugar dusting - mmmmm
Located at 349 Ao Nang Road, it is on the left hand side of the road when heading up the road from the beach - about 300 metres past the world's ubiquitous coffee shop.(you know what I'm talking about).
