“Amazing Service - Must Eat”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

This place completely blew me away! It's run by an Italian man and his Thai wife, very kind and generous people. I had the Thai-stye barracuda, which was phenomenal; I also highly recommend the soft-shell crab dish at the end of the menu.

Aside from the food, the owners are amazing. My boyfriend and I were just looking for a store to buy a bottle of wine, but realized that all the stores were closed by that point - he not only offered us a bunch of his own wine, but also quite casually said we can have the wine glasses too, as long as we return them the next day! What a nice guy.

“Mr. Krab-i, absolutely recommendable!”
Reviewed May 22, 2013

Okay, it's 200m away from the main bars, but's it's worth the way :)
The staff is really friendly (they just opened the kitchen again only for us at 10 pm!), the food was really nice (we ordered vegetarian green curry); reasonable prices and the atmosphere in this totally newly furnitured and opened restaurant was also fine!
In conclusion: Nothing I could criticize!

“Good food, nice ambiance and great service”
Reviewed May 17, 2013

It's tucked away on a quiet street and is a lovely old traditional Thai wooden house. The food is fantastic, and there's free wifi, along with popcorn when I visited. Would highly recommend for whiling away a few afternoons.

“Best food & service in Thailand”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

This place is a true hidden(ish) gem! We were unsure on arrival but after reading brilliant reviews we went for it, and boy were we not disappointed.

The owner was on service and was an absolute pleasure to talk to and be served by. He offered advice on the meal choices and talked passionately about the Italian/Thai fusion that he and his wife bring to the restaurant. To see this passion was brilliant. He also took time to recommend his favourite restaurant in Bangkok (which we visited the next night and was also great).

However, the true star of the show was the food. After some disappointing experiences in Thailand, we struck gold here. The starter (shrimp fishcakes) was brilliantly tasty. The champion dish however was the Soft Shell Crab yellow curry. It comfortably slots into my top 3 dishes of all time (including several top London restaurants) and for around 200BHT, what a steal! It was so delicious. I am tempted to come back to Krabi on a future visit just for this dish.

Thank you for restoring our faith in Thai food and a brilliant experience on our final night in Krabi. Ben (26yrs)
