“Quite basic but good value”
Reviewed February 11, 2014

We were originally booked in for 3 night but stayed for 4. It is quite basic, the rooms are just two beds and a fan but it does the job and its very good value for money if your on a budget like we were. It was shared bathrooms but I didnt have to wait to use them once as it is a pretty small place.
The lady that owned the place was lovely, always greeting us with a smile and always happy to help. She helped us book a tour to james bond island and gave us a discount on it, pretty godo tour too.

We paid about $7 a night for this room. It was quite literally a room with a bed in it, and a very small table. There was about 1 foot space around each side of the bed, so absolutely nowhere to put your things, but we were only there for a 1 night stop over.

The room had 2 fans but it was baking hot all night, and the window had blinds but no glass. There were birds flapping and screeching outside the window all night, so it was pretty noisy. The mosquito net didn't fit over the bed properly, and the bed itself was really hard.

The shared bathroom was basic but reasonably clean and the shower was hot.

It's located right opposite the pier and 'night market' (a few food stalls).

The main thing I wanted to point out, is that we asked for suggestions on how to get to tiger temple. A man who I assume owns the hotel jumped up and said he'd taxi us for 400 baht one was. This is a huge rip off, and we ended up getting a return on the street for 2 of us for 250 baht. I don't think is very good for somewhere where you're paying to stay. They lost interest in helping us with directions for Ao Nang when we weren't booking other trips, and they didn't have any maps of town or help on what to do...

But like I said, you get what you pay for and it was a room for the night...

Probably one of our most memorable guesthouse hands down after 5 months in se asia. The owner really makes this place special. For what could only be the cheapest double bedroom we have managed to get in thailand which consists of clean bed fresh sheets, cover and fan and shared bathroom we were extremely happy. The place is so clean everyone smiling and feels like family after first day. The owner and lady who runs it will help u with anything I mean anything and she is always smiling. Couldnt recommend this place more highly.

We were dropped off here by a mini-van from Lipe, and usually we are a little skeptical when vans take you to a place and they try to push their services on you. The lady owner simply asked us where we were going and her smile and friendly nature made us trust her on the spot! We ended up staying for 3 nights and booked tours with them everyday.
The rooms are basic with common showers and a little deck to look at the the river. The staff spoke little or no English other than the owner, but they were always smiling and ever so helpful when needed. The travel services were very professional and we have had zero issues with the service given. As from a previous post on here, we tried the Pad Thai and it was excellent, all the food was in fact, even real coffee. There is also a nighty food market adjacent to the guesthouse which was great!
We would recommend this guesthouse and especially the travel advice to anyone!

Room Tip: We stayed in the River view room and the bed was soft enough and a great breeze from the river

We stayed at Krabi Natureview for 8 nights in early December. Originally only booked for 4 nights, but decided to stay longer and use it as a base to do excursions rather than paying extra and the hassle of transfers to other locations in the area.

Firstly, location wise it's perfect. It's right opposite the pier from which you can get a long tail boat to Ao Nang/Railay etc for reasonable prices (around 150bht each way when the boat is full). Also opposite is the night food market where you can gorge yourself on all manner of local foods for next to nothing (120bht for soup and a large Chang). The location is also a few minutes walk from the bars, so it's quiet at night.

We chose to stay not just because it is cheap, but also based on the reviews about how helpful the owner is. We weren't disappointed. We literally wanted for nothing. She can arrange all the tours at really good prices, sorted us out a scooter from a reputable hire place, booked our onward transfer to Khao Sok (which went smoothly as by then we knew it would) and generally would go out of her way to help out. We even did a couple of trips whereby we paid after the event as the ATMs were playing up. All the trips we did were fantastic.

The guesthouse itself is fairly basic and the rooms plain but clean. We booked a double but there was only a twin available the first night and, although we were offered a double room from the second night, we ended up keeping our twin which was a bit bigger and the fan didn't squeak. The shared bathrooms could do with a spruce up, but they're functional and the water warm. The common area balcony is nice a cosy for a few beers in the evening, the view over the park is pretty and the wifi is generally fairly reliable and speedy. We only ate breakfast at the guesthouse and found it perfectly nice, if a bit pricey for some items. The porridge and French toast are both excellent.

We couldn't be happier with our stay and will be visiting again when we return to Krabi in the next few months.

We arrived the lady owner was extremely friendly then she dropped the bombshell I would have to share the bathroom with others, my initial thought was pack up and go but I got used to it it was clean the views of the river, the sound of the long boats passing by the food was quite expensive but 1 mins walk the night food market loads of good food at really cheap prices loads of bars close by but you get what you pay for so all in all not bad
