“20 minutes and your there”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

I booked this tour through my travel agent Tour East, they did not disappoint. I wanted to make sure that I was on a boat that did not squeeze you in like sardines. (I have had such an experience before to Phi Phi and found it most unpleasant.) However this tour there were a maximum of 23 people on the boat, plant of room, english speaking guide, lovely morning tea, and lunch provided, with plenty of bottled water on hand. THe island is beautiful and only 20 mins from Krabi.

“Worth doing if you have a spare day”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

We did this tour after doing the Phi Phi island tour and the 4 island tour, and I still think it's definately worth doing if you have a spare day. (Dec-Jan approx THB 1,200 - by speed boat, & THB 900 ish by long tail). We took the speed boat and enjoyed it.

Hong island & lagoon are picturesque. Hong island beach: though it can get crowded, and has some rocks, it's safe for swimming specially if you have kids. Stay away from others in the water if you want snorkelling clarity. If they are at the right end of the beach, go to the left end, and vice versa. Lagoon: Take photos of the entrance as your boat enters and leaves the lagoon. (you'll probably visit the lagoon before the beach).

Lading island: Nice beach though small, with clear water.
Rai island: snorkel in the shallows above the rocks to see some fish and maybe a mud skipper.
Daeng island: hmm... can't remember..sorry, but it's better being out there than in your room or around town.

Leave your worries behind, expect nothing much, and you'll definately enjoy your trip :)
