Great location very close to beach, places to eat, bars etc. however this is for young people, think backpackers and people partying.

Hotel is great and so where the staff. The night receptionist shared his home cooked thai meal with me one night, sipping beers watching football over the Internet at the frount desk.

However, there was a tragity while I was there. Two girls passed away in their room (ground floor, last on the corridor) this was due to poisoning of some sort, consumed off the hotel resort. Speculation was a unlawful cocktail containing deet insect replent. PLEASE do not be put off by this - but if your like me, them
request a first floor room to ensure you don't get that particular room.

The staff were very friendly and helpful in the hotel and the rooms were very nice. A little pricey but nice rooms. We wanted to know a few things about the area and the staff helped us out and pointed us in the right direction. The only problem that we had is that the rooms we a little noisy at night but that didn't matter too much. If stayed again would try and get a room further away from the bar opposite.

I stayed for almost a week in this hotel. It was nice and familiar. The staff was charming even if their english was not the best. I stayed in the ground floor and had a nice room and a huge terrace. The minibar was woking and filled with inexpensive items. The place was clean and we were asked to leave our shoes outside. The hotel is somewhat basic (no pool, no restaurant) but very well located. You can find everything you need nearby. Breakfast was included and is taken outside in a small snack-bar just opposite the hotel.

Room Tip: Don't forget to hang your «Please make up room» sign on the door when leaving for the day, otherwise housekeeping will skip your room.

We are travelling thailand and this was the most expensive place we have stayed in - as phi phi generally is more expensive with less choice than others. The room was nice, clean and bathroom was spacious. We had a massive courtyard outside - not sure if everyone had this though?? Staff can barely speak english though so if you have any questions - dont bother. Location is great - near everything really. We had breakfast included which you get in the cafe over the road - had scrambled eggs and bacon/sausages, coffee and juice every morning which saved us eating again until dinner. However, when we arrived they didnt remind us about this so I think they try to get away with not telling people.... so make sure you get your ticket in the morning between 8-11. The downfall of this hotel is the noise at night. I genuinly can sleep through it but my friend was not so lucky. She didnt sleep until 2 every morning because of the bar opposite. Genereally a good place for travellers who can afford a bit more. I would stay here again.

We stayed here for 5 nights after refusing to stay at Twin Palms we had to pay more money. The hotel is not really in a very good location up a side street with a noisy bar opposite but thankfully it did not bother us too much. If we had realised what Phi Phi is really about we would have chosen to stay in a different area such as long beach. Phi Phi is full of young people there to party and get tattooed.
Breakfast was included this is provided at a little cafe down the next street, the food was basic but the settings was really nice, that particular street is screened off at night so the party animals can not get on to it. If you are not a party animal choose a different area to stay.
