And so is the location...within walking distance to downtown, good places to eat, a shopping center, night markets, boats and other transportation to Railay Beach, and massage parlors.
This small hotel is down a quiet alley and offers clean rooms for an affordable price - $15 US.
The beds are springy and hard, but the manager was quick to provide me with an additional mattress from a day bed. She makes an effort to know your name, which is a nice touch. I didn't find her pushy at all (which one reviewer said) and she booked me a 5 Island snorkeling tour...not the first choice she recommended as the other one was booked...but adequate given the price. The snorkeling wasn't that good as many of the coral reefs are bleached and the minivan driver of the tour company drove way too fast for my comfort level. Also I felt the manager wasn't that informed about transportation options and the information kiosk was disorganized. Regardless, the room was clean and the hot water plentiful with good pressure from the shower. This is a no frills place. No water or shampoo provided. There is a small restaurant that offers food, but closes early. I can't comment on the food as I didn't eat there. My room had AC and TV. There was also a small balcony overlooking the garden area. Be careful as the mosquitos will get you!

We felt really welcome at this little and cozy guesthouse. The owner is the sweetest lady you will meet in Krabi-Town and helps you planning all your trips. Good room, great shower, and nice downstairs place to chill out with a chang in the evening. Such a nice gh we came back after a week of snorkeling to spend a night here and at our favorite hippie-bar around the corner. Worth to take a look there as well.

Loved my stay here! The room was impeccably clean, the service is excellent - especially Ya, the owner, who seems to work around the clock, but is always friendly and kind. Great AC, great shower, and a special mention to the cleaning staff who do such a good job cleaning the room (every few days, as per agreement when booking). For the price ($10-20 USD a night) it's an *amazing* bargain. I highly recommend staying here!
