“Good food & atmosphere @ river Kwai bridge”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2014 via mobile

The was quite good ... For almost of it ... Just the coconut sour soup was a lit bit too thick & sweet ...
But for the all food that we ordered was quite good ...
Recommend ... This restaurant for everyone for a walk @ river Kwai bridge just a few steps from it ... Nice food & good atmosphere by the river....

“Great Location, Excellent Service, Good Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2014 via mobile

Beautifully located right over the River Kwai, we had a lovely meal here with the service deserving a special mention - attentive, professional and prompt.

The food itself was good but could have been better. The pork red curry with peanuts stood out but we had three dishes and none were spicy as we requested. If they had been hot it would have made a big difference but we did get some prik nam pla to spice things up.

Will be returning but more emphasis on Thai spicy!

“Tranquil setting to watch the sunset”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2014 via mobile

Accidentally tumble on this restaurant which is just next to River Kwai. As we were there before the dinner crowd, it was quiet and tranquil. The mango smoothie was good. While sipping the smoothie, we saw the setting sun - a fiery red ball and dinner boat cruising by.

“Great ambiance and excellent Thai food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2014

This restaurant had been recommended to me and my Thai friends by a local Thai friend. The customers of the restaurant were predominantly Thai.We sat outdoors, or you can also sit inside the airconditioned section. The service was quick and all dishes were well prepared and fresh. We had fried chicken with salt, prawns with bean salad (Yum Tua Proo), prawn fried rice, a delicious steamed fish, fried chilli paste with vegetables and boiled egg (Nam Prik Pla Yang), soft drinks, iced coffee, and a selection of desserts from the bakery (blueberry cheese cake, coconut cake, and a passionfruit and mango sorbet---very refreshing on a hot day!). The total bill was 1480B for 3 people. Sure there are cheaper options, but for a treat sitting in a superb location, soft and tasteful jazz music being played, with a perfect view of the bridge and floating restaurants, watching the river flow by---why not! Sublime!!
