Review of Petchpailin

I stumbled across Petchpailin quite by accident, and am fortunate I did. This relaxing venue is the closest I've been to paradise in quite a while. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and one of the most striking features are the large, smooth rocks scattered around. The cabins are a little spartan, but they're comfortable and quiet, and a relaxing sleep is guaranteed. The river Kwai runs along the lower end of the resort, and you can dine on a terrace overlooking the river. A few days at Petchpailin and you'll feel rejuvinated. A few more days, and you'll never want to leave.
Date of stay: September 2011Room Tip: Go for the deluxe villa. It's twich as much as the standard villa, but still a bargain.
