I'm also doing a review in english, as ther seem to be two entries for ths camp on TA. It's the same camp though and I believe it's a must visit if you're around Kanchanaburi. Forget al the commercial camps where they put 6 tourists on one animal for half an hour. Spend a day helping out in taking care of old and disabled elephants, that are taken care of in this not for profit organisation. Bathing the elephants is esspecially awesome, but both the parents and our kids utterly enjoyed the experience.

At Elephant's World we got to do a variety of things. Feeding the elephants and swimming with elephants are a couple favorites. If you go for a whole day, a fantastic lunch is also included. This camp provides a comfortable place for abused, show elephant and badly treated elephants to reside, recover and heal, and is a great experience to be a part of.

In april 2011 me and my boyfriend spent a whole day in Elephant's World. The experience was just amazing. The people working there really have a big heart and they're showing their love for the elephants. Instead of only enjoying yourself I find it a good thing that you're helping the elephants as well. During the day you help to collect and make food. You feed them and wash them in the River Kwai. Other tours offer sort of nice tours as well, but you have to keep in mind that other tours are not always that good for the elephants (for example they have to carry several people and a heavy chair all day long).

If you consider a tour with elephants and you really have a heart for these big, amazing and beautiful animals choose this project and help them!!

What an amazing project! Spent a whole day at Elephant's World. And enjoyed every second. It was an awesome day. Because you have the opportunity to get really close to these marvelous creatures. Touching them, feeding them, riding them and bathing with them. So much fun and so rewarding! The whole stuff is really really motivated to give you a great day. Thanks a lot to Agnes, Danny and all the mahouts! The visit is worth every cent, especially as it supports a very good idea! So GO GO GO THERE!

Enjoy your day at Elephant's world and greet Agnes, the mahouts and the elephants from me :-)

Instead of enjoying yourself by for example sitting on a elephant, we enjoyed the elephant which was indeed amazingly fun to do. The team of elephants world is creating together with the visitors a healthy and good place for the elephants that have been abused.
We watched them take a mud bath, fed them with fruits and sticky rice, and even bath with them.
Just great
