This Museum is directly opposite the Allied War cemetary and is amazing. Prior to going we had read this was the best museum to go to and now that we have - we agree. It was created by Rod Beattie - an Australian ex-army and engineer. he has spent 15 years exploring the entire railway. The Museum is a complete dedication to the events during WWII in relation to the entire Railway and treatment of the POWs. The audio guide which takes you around the Museum is wonderful. it also has a fair bit of information/visual aids to look at regarding the recovery of POW bodies (war graves recovery) which was fascinating.
