I stayed here in November with my friend. Having spent the last few weeks in the beaches and national parks of south Thailand I was a touch unprepared for the north country side. However Stuart, the owner could not have been more accommodating and welcoming!
He organised a private taxi for us (by taxi I mean colourful open side mini bus all to ourselves!) and sent us round seeing all the sights! He bought us fresh Thai street food every morning (he's an early riser!) including fresh ground Thai coffee. We stayed for too short a time but absolutely loved it. Stu is such an Interesting character and what travelling is all about!
Would highly recommend staying here for the experience! The place is beautifully rustic and homely, if u want luxury this is not for you. It's beautiful and like a house stay, friendly and personal, not a hotel.
If u stay make the most of Stu and his amazing stories and knowledge if the area.
Prob the best days of my of my month in Thailand!
