We stayed at Hintock for 2 nights arriving lunch time. We were blown away by the location on the river and the views. The first day was spent relaxing in the natural spring fed pool. It was absolutely amazing, cool but very refreshing. In the evening we had a buffet meal around the camp fire which is a real adventure. Although the food was similar both evenings it was fine as people seem to use the camp as a base to explore the surrounding attractions. The tents are not 5 star luxury but have beds, air con ( which we didn't need as it was very cold in the night and first thing in the morning). The bedding and towels are all clean and toiletries were provided in the open air bathroom. We had arranged a tour the follow day with mellow trek (separate review to follow) so on arriving back at the camp at 5.30 we were straight to the pool for a much needed dip. If you want something a bit different, an adventure for children and a chance to chat around a camp fire with a few Singha's, it is perfect. I have read some negative reviews on here but at the end of the day you are camping and personally I loved this place.
