very nice beach - long, not crowded, especially in July. Nice weather - sometimes sunshine, sometimes cloudy, clean, warm sea. There are some cafes, where you can have something to eat. Sunbed with umbrella is 50 BAT in average.

Enjoyed this beach, very quiet in July. Very good for kids and nice to play on, with plenty of space. We stayed at H&P Beach Corner for the day and they were fantastic.

Clean and nice beach. Very good for families, small kids because it's not deep. Very service minded at the beach restaurant next to the hotel (purple sun beds and "sun-umbrellas").
A lot of activities; you can rent a jet ski, ride on a banana or similar after a jet ski boat, ride on horses.
Or just relax and enjoy the calm environment.

Only 10-15 minutes with Tuk-Tuk from Hua-Hin Marked Village.

We were 2 families with 3 children at the age of 8.

My preferred beach area, with large sandy stretches, clear waters, very nice, small restaurants and quiet, if you stay off the new harbour area, where there is some construction work. Ordering drinks or food gives free access to sunbeds with umbrella, often needed in the hot sun. You find a mix of Thai and farang there, very nice. And it's only 15 minutes from the city...try it out!

Beaches in Hua Hin are a function of the tide! You can have an spoilt walk of a few kms or you may just have the ocean run up to the parapets. The classic beach loungers by rows and sun umbrellas and shacks that you see in beaches in Goa, Samui or Phuket are practically non existent. Most good hotels are set on the ocean front and that's where you go take your loungers and food. The waters were fresh n warm in Jun. You have to get the tide cycle right to be able to walk by the beach! The beach at Khao Takiab is clean and unspoilt. Jelly fish warnings do exist and horse riding is a surprise change.
