We spent 3-day-2-night with Let's sea as part of our anniversary celebration trip. After a long drive from Bangkok, we finally arrived at the hotel. The reception greet us with superb and personal services - trying to help us adapt to this relaxing hotel. They take the initiative to chat and care about what we experienced every day when we meet. Every time we come across the reception (as there are a few exits), they always give us a warm and welcoming smile!

We love the studio pier - it's so convenient to be that close to the pool. There was heavy rain in the second night. On the next morning, the staff quickly clean up the leaves that were left in the pool.

We also love the restaurant, not only the breakfast, but also the dinner. The price is reasonable and the food are very tasty. They do not have breakfast buffet, but you can order as long as you can still eat! There is a wide variety of choices, and we loved the poached eggs, boiled plain rice and congee.

The staff who control the "traffic" are very nice and professional as well. They direct us to park our car and leave the hotel carefully.

What a pity that we can't enjoy their spa services in the Gaia Spa as its renovation project is not yet completed, but in one of the guest rooms.

Overall speaking, we are very impressed with their dedicated service. Highly recommend and will definitely stay with this resort again next time we visit Hua Hin! Thanks very much for bringing us such a relaxing environment and every special details for us as our memorable anniversary!!

we stayed for two nights - the place is amazing, the staff pampered and spoiled us!! We had dinner one night at the hotel, the food was wonderful !
We loved the room, nice size and great decor - especially we like the wooden balcony that takes you down to the huge pool. VERY CLEAN and wonderful architecture!
BUT there is no beach to sit and relax ! the sea reaches up to the front of the hotel at that area of Hua HIn. In addition, the Spa and the Fitness center at the hotel are under renovations - they were not open, and that was quite a disappointment for us - we love to use the Spa where ever we stay! It was not mentioned to us when we made the reservations, and that was a bit disappointing...
There is constructions going on around Let's Sea Hotel - some more hotels and rental apartments are built in the area.

Room Tip: We recommend the rooms on the first floor - direct exit into the pool!!

Thank you for sharing your experience. We look forward to welcoming you back to enjoy a perfect experience as our rooftop Gaia Spa and Fitness Studio have been completed. If you plan a trip from late January till October the tide will be low during the day and high at night time while late October till Mid January the tide is high during the day and low at night time. The days with Monsoon influence will have higher tide than usual and takes our beach away. Once the tide is low, the beach is big. It is the nature at Hua Hin beach.

After reading all of the positive reviews I set off for this "resort" with the expectation of a hidden gem boutique hotel on the beautiful Thai coast
What a disappointment
After turning down two dingy alleys we pulled up to the "resort" in the middle of two noisy construction sites
Now I know why all the pictures on the website are so tight
It is the most narrow cramped hotel with absolutely no grounds and about a 30 frontage to the ocean
The pool is a dark cramped affair as well
The rooms may be nice (and they are) but you do not come to Thailand to stay in your room
I feel so ripped off!!!!!
Do yourself a favor and stay at one of the true resorts nearby

Dear Khun Kriskaz,

We are sorry to know that our cutting edge architecture and character of the resort is not your favorite type.

In fact this 40 rooms resort is build on a beachfront space of 7200 Sq. M. Guests can luxuriate in low density living. Our staff walk way is also designed to be beneath and separated from one used by our guests to sustain utmost privacy.

The landscape lighting at the resort is set to turn off at 22:00 hrs to prevent any disturb to some guests who may not expect the light at that time of the day and to save energy. We learn from your arrival time on check in record was at 21:58 hrs., after spent some time at check-in you could not see the lighting design when you walked to the room and check out on the next day morning.

In fact, the concept of the resort in the accommodation part is inspired by "living by the canal - it is nostalgia Thai lifestyle". The 120 metres long swimming pool is not lit inside but the landscape lighting around the pool is bright enough for those who want to swim in an early evening and reflects beautifully for those who love to see the setting.

We considerately understand that your experience of the visit this time is not perfect as it was during the ending part of our resort renovation plus some of our neighbours were working to catch up the coming high season. The passage outside our entrance was not perfect when those neighbours were working to fix their landscape. That is not permanent. The mentioned area will soon be a part of an important event in Hua Hin, Hua Hin Automobile Concours 2012, which will take place 14-16 December 2012.

We look forward to your kind understanding.

Sincerely,

The Management - Let's Sea Hua Hin Al Fresco Resort

The staff and the service are exceptional. Although some parts of the resorts were under renovation, the room itself was beautiful and spacious and light and the pool was in good condition. The location of the resort was quite good in my opinion because the south part of Hua Hin is where all the attractions, restaurants, bars, markets and more are located. The last thing I'd like to mention is the food. Besides the delicious breakfast I also tried the dinner at their beachside restaurant. The food was great although the price might be a bit high for some. But hey, look around the place.

Room Tip: Both rooms are nice. The rooms downstairs get direct pool access but the rooms upstairs have moon de...

Dear Khun Tozenter,

Thank you very much for your very cheerful message. Now the hotel renovation is coming to the end. We have launched new menu at the restaurant on November 1, 2012. More good news is that our kitchen team has our supply chain team has managed to get better quality of raw materials at better cost. It results in better food and lower price in some items. Wine & champagne prices are now so special too. Please come back to check fresh new looks and flavours to enjoy more.

Thank you again.

We have just stayed for one night at the Let's Sea. Unfortunately the hotel is an oasis in the middle of a building site at the moment as they are building apartments all around it. The noise from this goes on until 10.00pm so relaxing on the moon deck is noisy. Also, the hotel is renovating rooms/various parts of the building and, again, there is constant noise from this.

We were recommended to have "happy hour" drinks at the pool bar but when we got there they were drilling right next to it. After a few minutes someone came to the bar and I pointed this out and asked if we could have the drinks at the bar near the beach but this wasn't "allowed" and so the builders had to stop drilling as we didn't want to listen to it. Also, the air conditioning in the room was extremely loud even on the lowest setting. We turned it off but then it became too hot.

I feel as though the whole hotel is a bit "tired" now which is why they are doing the renovations. The breakfast was good and it was nice overlooking the sea with a complimentary glass of champagne. However, I think that the hotel is too pricey for what you get. The staff were all attentive and helpful though.

I probably wouldn't stay again and definitely not until all the nearby building work is finished and all the hotel renovations.

I was recommended to this place by my friend and after looking at her Facebook pictures and the hotel's website, I thought this would definitely be the ideal place to celebrate my partner's birthday. I was not disappointed.

The journey there was a little bit of an amazing race thingy. We had flown from Singapore to Bangkok to stay for a night and wanting to experience the journey, I thought the best way was by taking the train. Therefore, we stayed at a hotel right at the train station (saving this particular hotel review on a separate one). Suffice to say, the journey was ahem.. an experience as we only managed to take the ordinary train which cost us $2 per person.

When we got to the hotel, we couldn't be more glad! First impression counts and we were thoroughly impressed! The hotel lobby's high ceiling and it's decor were tastefully designed, ensuring a breeze which would probably soothes anyone's tiredness away.

We were then ushered to our room and boy were we blown away! It was just as what we saw from the pictures! Huge comfy bed, an amazingly huge bathroom with two separate dressing area and the shower place in between them. However, I personally felt the shower area was too small as water coming out from the shower head will definitely hit outside the area and onto the dressing area. I do feel irritated by it as I have to always wipe the surrounding floor dry after shower. A design flaw which I was fine to live with.

The food was supposedly to be very good and to be honest, it wasn't fantastic, just alright and decent. My only grouse is that for the price that I'm paying for them, the serving could have been more. It could be fine for those who are on a diet I supposed and of course, these are personal preferences.

At the end of the day, what really makes an establishment stands out from its competitors is its service. This was truly their selling point. Not only were they quite attentive to your needs, going all the way to please their guests but they also ensured that you'll get your privacy leaving you to enjoy your stay peacefully.

Oh, and if you are staying over the weekend, it would be the perfect place to visit the cicada market which is just 6mins walk from the hotel.

PS: we got a pool access room and do request for a room closer to the beach as there are some constructions going on during the day near the lobby area.

this boutique resort is one of the best one i've stayed, the room, toilet, moon deck is just spacious for a boutique hotel.

Love the food, although the price it might bit a little bit on the high side, but it's huahin (tourist hotspot).

the service is exceptional quality! same goes to the staff and drivers. speaking about driver the location of the hotel is fronting the beach, therefore there can be quite a walk to main road (approx 10-15 mins (slow walk), the hotel charter to town and outside, should be given free of charge in considering the price & limitless of the service (even have to pay &3 times per day), when customer are have pay for the service, then customer should be given the priority to use the service any time. A lot of hotel provide free shuttle service!

The beach is just nice, the free breakfast given - could be better, taking into consideration that you can only order 1 selection in each categories, so if you are a heavy breakfast person, you will get something extra to fill in but best part they serve free champagne on breakfast!

Plus, this hotel is going through some refurbishment (aug 2012 to Oct 2012) - some price rebate should be given back to customer who paid actual price (full facilities), when i'm there the gym is closed and we did not experience the 'real' let's sea hua hin.

May i suggest that, the hotel offer a certain % discount for those who stayed during the refurbishment time, so they can come back when refurbishment is completed!

Room Tip: Moondeck suite is bigger!

Thank you very much for sharing the information. We are delighted to know that you have a pleasant stay with us. Please allow us to reply your review as it may be useful for other viewers: The hotel tried our best to practice the ecological sustainable management. The fee of Shuttle van of Baht 50 (approx. US$ 1.5) is for all to consider whether they really need to travel or not. The return trip is not offered in order that tourism can share some revenue to locals and the resort make different use of vehicle on the way back after we send customers i.e. go to post office, banks to prepare some other service. More information about Let's Sea ecological management can be found under topic of Eco-chic

For breakfast, this small resort choose to provide full service of freshly cooked breakfast instead of buffet. You can choose your preferred item and you can refill or choose differently and we will serve until you feel satisfied.

Thank you about sharing the information of special offer for guests to return after the renovation. This is very useful. However, for those who have stayed during the renovation and left, we still have the record in our system. We always check guest's history and we will prepares some special offer for returning guests who used to stay during August 1 - October 31, 2012.

Warm regards,

Let's Sea Team
