Booking for Imperial 3 bedrooms suite on top floor but get only second floor suite at the dark corner of the building. The answer is the room I booked is full and no room left now. If full, how can I book and get confirmation answer and resrervation number . After waiting for hour, they offer the VIP room on the 4 floor with sea view but it have only 1 large bedroom ,1TV and the 2 very small bedrooms. We have 6 adults, so we need equal BR, not 2 maid rooms. Before I go to see this VIP room , they told me that next chance I can't book for this room-- how feel are you if you hear this. So, we decide not to receive their compliment. Moreover we all have mosquito bites in that second floor suite. We left this hotel in the morning and not turn back again.

After I read your review, I had to investigate what really happened. There was a malfunction with the online reservation system when you made your booking. Normally, Once the last room is booked, the system should not accept the new booking again. However, my Front Office Manager was the one who took care of you and tried to give you alternative which was not accepted by you.

I am sincerely sorry for what happened and we have to pay more attention with our online system every day that this kind of problem will not happen again.

Yours sincerely,
Pinthida Bhatayanond (Ms.)

we stayed here for 16 nights the rooms are in need of modernisation but were kept clean and tidy by the staff The breakfast buffet provided a good choice and food was ok The drinks in the hotel were quite pricey compared with other places and i realise they need to make a profit but surely it is better to have people drinking rather than an empty bar area The courtesy bus was very handy and plenty of cheap transport back from town On the whole we had an enjoyable stay in hua hin

Your review on the Imperial Hua Hin is appreciated. The Hotel is 20 years which obviously the rooms are quite old but cleanliness of the rooms including linen and towels is a must as per your compliments as well as variety of breakfast. For drinks, we have decreased the price up to 10% recently. Anyway, we are glad to know that you had a good stay in Hua Hin.

Very quiet and a bit out of the way. Peaceful but we felt like 97% of the hotel visitors are 60 or 70 yrs old while we r on our honeymoon so not sure if this is a right choice for that. Other than that all was great and staff are nice and food is average.

Your review about the Imperial Hua Hin Beach Resort is much appreciated. Our location is not in the city so it's quite peaceful here. Majority of foreign guests is elderly people but for Thai and Asian guests, average age could range from 30 to 60 years old. We always train our staff to have service mind and to be helpful to all guests. For food, although it's average, we have to improve continuously.

We ordered and payed extra for a deluxe room with sea view ....well we must admit we could see the ocean but from far..........very far.......It is also stated that the hotel is situated at the beach....no beach...unless at ebb....than we could try wading for about 1 km and we would get water up to our knees....
The Hotel had got a New manager that was trying to cut costs..specially in the breakfast room .
When we came down at about 0800 am every thing on the buffet was empty....only the dining tables were full...of dishes, glasses and cups. We waited a little to see if we could find a clean table and thought we could start with a cup of coffee....a bit difficult since there were no more clean cups. 4 **** hotel says hotels.com....... ? This hotel is like a 2/3 **/*** and being used as a charter hotel.... We had room 444 and the bathroom window did not close completely...guess how many Mosquitos we had visiting :( at night with lights on. The STAFF was very serviceminded and did everything to keep the guests happy.

Thank you for taking the time writing a review on the Hotel. As I mentioned many times in the previous review that it depends on the high tide and low tide and time of the day for having nice beach. It is the nature that the Hotel cannot control. Before booking the Hotel, people must try to get more information of what they will get. There are a few 5-star hotels in Hua Hin town where the beach is always nice.
I have to make it clear that this Hotel does not have new manager and our policy is not to cut cost especially high season. Our breakfast has more variety of both Thai and Western food. It's too exaggerated to say that everything dish is empty at 8:00 a.m. Yes, some dishes may be empty but I am sure that our staff in the kitchen is filling up the dishes in a few minutes. Regarding the room, I have told executive housekeeper to get an engineer to fix the door and to get rid of mosquitos as possible as they can. However, I am sorry to learn that you did not have good experience at the Hotel but I am thankful for your compliment on the staff.

Used this hotel as part of a tour stop over. Good food, clean rooms and friendly staff. The only thing we found was the drinks were expensive compared to other hotels we stayed at on the tour. No beach to speak of at high tide. Take advantage of the courtesy bus into town and visit the night market.

I would like to thank you for taking your valuable time in writing a review on the Imperial Hua Hin Beach Resort especially complimenting on the food, cleanliness of the room, friendly staff and free shuttle service to town. In November and December, there is normally a high tide during daytime and low tide at nighttime. Regarding the drink, I will take into consideration for the price decrease.

Just got back from a 3 week stay at this hotel. The hotel is not the newest but it is very clean and the staff are excellent, they couldn't do enough for you. There are plenty of sunbeds so no need to be up at 7am with your towels!! Plenty to choose from at breakfast so even fussy eaters will not be disapointed.
The hotel is not in a central location but there is a free shuttle bus that runs all day from the hotel and last pick up is at 9pm from the town. After that it will cost you 150bht in a taxi back to the resort. All in all this hotel was good value for money.

I will preface my review by stating that, before arriving at the Imperial in Hua Hin, we had just had our best and most impressive hotel stay ever at the Sofitel So in Bangkok. Therefore the bar was set very high for us. Therefore, we were instantly disappointed when we arrived at the Imperial. The street that the hotel is on is not very pretty and the hotel just presented itself as a lower-end hotel.

Check in was fast, the room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable and the rooms were spacious and relatively quiet. The bathroom was adequate but the shower water temperature was frustratingly inconsistent. It would vary considerably from cold to painfully hot regardless of where the handle was set. There was decent space for clothes.

Breakfast was mediocre at best and we frequently saw tiny ants throughout the serving areas. Coffee was decent. The main restaurant area looked very shabby. The furniture was quite beat up, the windows were incredibly dirty and the walls were in dire need of a paint job especially around the base boards. However, there was a smaller room that looked nice. We at lunch there one day and the lunch food was also just mediocre.

The pool looked pretty enough but there was constantly a strong wind. Of course the hotel can not control the weather but the design of the hotel did not help to reduce it at all. The pool water was uncomfortably cold and, due to the design of the hotel and the path of the sun, the majority of the lounge chairs around the pool were in the shade. Therefore, you had to claim your spot early in the day if you wanted a spot in the sun. A large section of the sunny area was for tables with umbrellas next to the pool bar. Unfortunately, the pool bar was most often unattended. Often you need to go find people in the restaurant if you want service at the pool bar; which mostly defeats the purpose of the pool bar. Also they usually had house, techno or strong rap and hip/hop playing from the pool bar. I normally like these types of music but it did not seem well suited for the guests who were mostly older or families.

There were signs posted throughout the pool area stating that it was not allowed to bring outside food or beverages. The drinks were expensive; normal bottles of Chang beer were 170 Baht and Heineken was 200 Baht. I thought this was expensive since we got large bottles of Chang beer in Krabi for 89 Baht. We bought 2 large bottles of Chang beer at 7/11 for 100 Baht (for 2) and brought it back to the hotel. The mini-bar refrigerator in the room came in handy. There was effectively no beach because the waves came right up to the rock wall.

The free shuttle service into town was nice because it is about a 10 minute drive away. However, a higher frequency would be nice. However, the paid taxi service into town was also convenient and relatively inexpensive. The fitness room is small and cramped but had some decent equipment.

If you have no other choice for a hotel, staying at the Imperial Hua Hin would be OK. However, if possible, I would not recommend it. It far away from the center and the food and service is not good enough so it is necessary to go into town for a good meal. The price was low for European or American standards but relatively high for what you get and compared to other higher end hotels.

I appreciate your valuable time in writing very long review on the Hotel. Sofitel So Bangkok is considered 5-star city hotel and also trendy hotel. The standard of Sofitel So Bangkok and The Imperial Hua Hin Beach Resort is incomparable. One is totally new and the other is 20-year old property. The impression of facility will be definitely different. Regarding the beach, there is beach but it depends on the high or low tide and the Moon which is unpredictable even staff who is local cannot tell. If guests want to stay at the Hotel where is definitely with beach, our staff will recommend in town. For the negative comments, whatever we can do and improve, we will have to seriously take them into our consideration. For hot water temperature, this is the problem that we are aware and it is in our plan to fix the system this year.

However, thank you for complimenting on our staff friendliness.

Yours sincerely,
