We attended one week yoga retreat in January at Aleenta Pranburi. It was organized by our local yoga studio in Finland. Our whole group were located in the Frangipani area which is 5 min away from the main reception & restaurant and the place was perfect for us. We had special privacy there. Rooms were very nice and we had own pool in the area. View from the room was amazing. Food was good. I ordered Young thai coconuts and fruits for the breakfast and booked thai massage every day from the massage place closed to Aleenta. We had breakfast and dinner together every day by the beach and we visited the main building only couple times.

I had an absolutely fantastic time at the Aleenta resort, I can only repeat all the other outstanding reviews. The bungalows just by the sea are unique and I think this was one of the most beautiful locations I have ever slept - the sea literally in front of the bed...
There are, however a few things that I would like to point out. The Frangipani Wing is not just a part of the resort - it is a completely different building some distance away from the main complex. I cannot say anything about that part, but travelers should be aware that this is something altogether different.
The other thing is that traveller should be aware that this is a boutique hotel and not your typical 5 star resort. If you expect the service and amenities of a large hotel, this is not for you. For instance, while there is a gym, the equipment that is available is not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. I do not see this as a negative as clearly a small hotel cannot provide the same services and amenities as a large resort, but people should be aware of that.
The resort is somewhat remote (yes, there are a few restaurants nearby) and allows to completely relax. Very positive is that there are bikes available for free to explore the surrounding area.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to send some days relaxing by the sea.

Room Tip: Make sure that you get a bungalow just by the sea: Palm Pool Suite, Pool Suite or Beach House, where the beach is literally a step away from your front door.

The first time I visited last year, I was pregnant – this time I returned with a seven month old baby. I wasn’t sure it could possibly be as relaxing and enjoyable as the first time, but it was. Last time, we stayed in a super stylish circular villa with a private plunge pool overlooking the beach. Beautiful. This time, we were relegated to the more kiddy-friendly wing of the hotel. Like before, the staff were amazingly attentive, the food was delicious (they even made up freshly blended baby food for every meal) and best of all, the villa – overlooking a lawn leading down to the sea - was perfectly baby friendly. The ideal set up for nipping into the sea for a quick swim or having dinner under the stars while the babies sleep. The beach, as always, was beautiful – completely empty most days – and a little wild. Despite its celebrity guest credentials, it’s v down to earth and remarkably relaxed. A perfect bolthole. Looking forward to my next visit.

Just returned from a 10 night stay at the Aleenta resort Pranburi. We stayed in one of the Pool suites that are just amazing and we cannot praise the resort highly enough. It is a wonderfully tranquil hotel that is extremely quiet and very comfortable and we just loved having our own plunge pool. There is nothing like waking up in the morning to the sound of the waves and the amazing view of the beach. There are also wonderful views of the resort and beach from the infinity pool by the bar and restaurant. The food is excellent and having breakfast delivered to you outside your room overlooking the beach is something never to be forgotten. Having free use of the push bikes is a nice touch and a great way to get about to see the local area. James and his team are just amazing and they will do all that they can to ensure you have a truly wonderful and memorable stay. So, If you like a noisy holiday with nightclubs etc then this resort isn't for you however, if you are looking for the ultimate in relaxation and heaven on earth; then this is for you! Thank you to you all at Aleenta and we hope to see you all again!

Room Tip: Pool suites are just amazing!

It was an awesome experience. Aleenta is a chain of small luxury hotels, and it provides every bit of luxury to its guests. The place is very relaxed and different all other five star hotels. The cottages, it seems, are located on the beach. The concept of open bathroom is also novel.

Other guests have written about mosquitoes being a problem but I didn't face any such problem.

The food is also very different and yes they have vegetarian options. There are good resturants outside aleenta too. We explored the place on a bike, which is easily avai
Able outside the hotel. It was an amazing experience..A perfect getaway from bustling city life.
