This is the most beautiful place in Thailand. Personally, I'd go so far as to say the world.

Surrounded by woodland and scrub land, Takiab is a treasure. Beware of the monkeys, don't attempt to play with them as they are NOT pets. You can buy nuts to feed them but I wouldn't advise that as it only causes a mass of small primates defending upon you until they have them - not a great start to any day!

Views that are second to none, and a feeling of total tranquillity. If you are in Hua Hin, then you HAVE TO VISIT. You will regret it if you don't.

Mind the animals and take at view over Hua hin. many step up but do it. You can also visit the nearby sea port and buy fish there.

Quiet, water a little dirty. A bit out of the way. Have to take a taxi from city centre. No waves.
Good hotels near this beach.

The view of the Ocean Perfect, walk past the monkey food station and visit the beautiful Chinese Temple with paintings and porcelain or ceramic buildings that are bright and vibrant.. A monkey bath area is funny.. Monkey mess is minimal, when you consider that you can see hundred's of Monkey. Do not feed the Monkey, Do not carry food in your hand. Not a drink in your hand either. They will take your bag if you have snacks. Yes monkey mountain has wonderful, free roam monkey everywhere. Down the mountain part way is a good restaurant there are suprise monkey there as well. Monkey mountain is free, see Black Buddha, or summer palace same day...

The area is very dirty and unkept. There is a lot of monkeys around and you half to watch your belongings at all times. There is a person there you can buy bananas to feed them but would recommend against it since they can get very crazy as soon as they see it. As for the view there is not much to see from the top. Just the beach and the town in the distance but nothing worth photographing.
