A great golf get-together with friends from Melbourne & London. We chose to stay at City Beach Resort as its location was strategic where everything was within reach. The 3 chosen Golf Courses Black Mountain, Banyan and were also not too far away.

We all stayed in their comfortable Deluxe Rooms which had a balcony facing Hua Hin City. The amenities provided in the room is satisfactory. Housekeepers were very obliging. Generally the staff were friendly and hospitable. Daily buffet breakfast served was simple and adequate ensuring you start off tour day on a balanced diet. The only complaint that I may have would be the internet service, though provided for free but the hotel management changes the password daily at midnight guest arr expected to collect the new password at the reception. The management can do better by alerting guests by text messages or a simple note slipped under our doors.

Otherwise, our 4 days 3 nights stay at City Beach Resort was a pleasant one. Cheers.

Very good value for money! This hotel is a bit run down but still clean with very spacious rooms. Breakfast is not sumptuous but has good variety and quite adequate. Location is absolutely perfect. Right in the heart of the action, walking distance to the Night Market, bars and live music venues!

The hotel location is good. Near to the beach, walking distance to Hua Hin night market. Hotel services were good. General Manager Mr Sirasit is a very friendly and nice person. Walking distance to disco and pubs. Nearby burger king,Mcdonald, 7-11,and other food center. Of course surrounded by mood and Thai traditional massage centre etc. Just next to Wat Hua Hin and walking distance to Hilton Hotel.
Fantastic location. Hotel is clean.
Will recommend this hotel. And will come back to the hotel for next visit

Had 2 days at this hotel on my way to Bangkok. Choose it because of price and closeness to the beach, which both are ok.

The rooms are old, there is no coffee or tea or amenities other than soap/shampoo. The
towels had stains and cleaning varies from room to room. My kids rooms had ants in one and spiders in the other.

We "uograded" to executive rooms with the result that we had no balcony.

Breakfast is basic, no cheese, one type of meat, watery juice and so on. The staff never serve you anything. I did not see any of them smile to visitors during my stay.

But, if all you need is a bed close to the beach it is on enough.

Room tip: If you want room with balcony do not upgrade to executive rooms

Dropped off the train from Surat Thani with no fixed place to stay. Got
Got a tip from Patty at her cafe next to the station about this hotel. Value for the money. Pool and room was ok, but a bit worn in places so don't expect luxury. Main thing it's in walking distance of the beach and the rest of the city center including the train station. (Taxi drivers must have a hard time in this city as everything is pretty much bunched up in walking distance, unless you're very lazy)
