A wonderful evening dining at Le Bistro with my family last night! A MUST try if you enjoy good food and service. This restaurant is new and only open for four months. My kids ordered the Australian striploin. It was so tasty that my tiny little girl finished the whole 7oz. I ordered the sea bass and my husband ordered the lamb shank. Just one phrase - Cooked with Heart! We didn't try our regular Creme Brûlée this time. Chef Romain suggested the Ice Nougat
dessert and it was delicious!
A MUST try! Will definitely pay visit again on my next Hua Hin trip!

Quelle surprise! A top French bistro in of all places - Hua Hin, Thailand.

The food was exceptional - taste, texture, presentation. The steak, Hokkaido scallops (mains), and foie gras appetisers all met and exceeded expectations, even after reading some excellent reviews prior to visiting. Chef Romain Aletru also played an important role as maitre d` with regular visits to the tables to discuss the meals - with most of the clientele being French. That tells you something!

The piece de resistance surprisingly was a dessert item - Bread Pudding My Way, which chef Romain later described as his signature dish. Unbelievably light and delicate, and full of flavor - not at all like the bread pudding most people are familiar with. Try it - and add a scoop of his special vanilla ice cream on the side.

In a huge coincidence my daughter Cait wrote a review six weeks ago while on a Hua Hin holiday, and mentioned the lack of a baby high chair. Last night, there it was being unpacked and tested in the restauarant - proof that Chef Romain reads reviews, and acts appropriately.

A must to visit for that special night out, However, difficult to find! Take the address and if necessary get the cab driver to phone for directions. You`ll be glad you found it!

The goose liver, Escargo and the onion tart are very good. The beef is ok but nothing to shout about. The chef is very friendly.

The most memorable thing about this place was indeed our waiter. He was so much fun!

The ambience is lovely, the staff very friendly and attentive but not in your face.

Dinner for 3 was not that expensive but still $50 a head including a nice Pouilly Fume white wine. The lamb shank cooked for 5 hours was very nice as was the sauce that accompanied it. However, I can get the same at any Wine Connection in Phuket for half the price.

I have heard great things about the steak so will visit again when I return to Hua Hin.
